4. I can’t blame Jimmy for the 2023 finals. He literally gave everything that postseason. By the time he got to the finals he was so banged up and were no match for Denver

9. I agree with him but not for the 23 finals I remember him shooting a decent amount but the percentages were awful

10. I’d also argue you can’t say “well Jimmy just can’t play against taller lineups” cause he was hammering the Lakers in the bubble. I understand he was dealing with an ankle injury and we were pretty outmatched talent wise against the Nuggets, but dude turned the aggression from a 10 to a 2 for the finals

13. This stuff makes Dwyane Wade look bad. Jimmy’s play against Denver is on par or better than Wade’s performances in the 2012-2014 finals, yet Wade has 2 championships to show for those years while Jimmy has none. And that was with Jimmy finding out his dad was dying at the very end of the Celtics series while recovering from the Josh Hart injury.

14. So now we’re blaming Jimmy for the 2023 finals loss? Such a shame that these same Heat legends won’t call out the FO for never putting together a championship level roster.

17. For all the defenders of Jimmy Butler, let’s not forget that DWade probably forgot more basketball knowledge than most of us ever had. He also knew Butter and was a teammate of his in Chicago. If DWade says that, I believe he knows what he’s talking about
