Unrelated, but I just realized he signs his name Willy Benson, which I love.

I hope he finally has it together and stays on for the long haul. I know baseball is a game of adjustments and I hope he can continue to adjust to the game.
Vargas from CWS was the AL Player of the week. Guess the Reds v. White Sox series last week was the absolute best matchup in MLB….just like all of us predicted.
It’ll be awkward when then send him back down in a couple weeks.

Not gonna say this is what I expected, but I have honestly felt that this guy was gonna figure it out sooner or later. His 2023 season was actually pretty special, and thinking that he could build on that and really put up some nice numbers this year wasn’t too far of a stretch. But he has kinda blown my mind this past week! Not just coming through in big spots, but actually being the best in the league right now. It’s like he knew exactly what he had to do and he did it. I know that I speak for a lot of us right now, but boy am I glad we have that type of DUDE on our team. Congrats Big Willy, Baby! You definitely deserve it!!! Hope this sets our team on FIRE! Let’s Go Reds!!!

I don’t think he’s miraculously figured it out. But if he did, couldn’t happen to a nicer player. Want to see him succeed
