  1. This loss doesn’t change the fact that your game ticket is your concert ticket.

  2. I was cranky about it earlier but fwiw if that’s like, the ugliest game we’ve had this year I’d say that’s pretty good

  3. That was shitty.

Anyways, onto the Brewers series. Not going to take too much away from that loss. The Braves got lucky early on with some soft hits, including the Albies HR. Decided to not really chase a win after the bases loaded ground out. Brewers series will probably be annoying.

  4. Going for a sweep via a doubleheader against Chris Sale was going to be a tall task regardless

But damn if Wheeler’s outing doesn’t leave a sour taste in the mouth

  5. Was at work, didn’t really turn it on until after the game was a blowout. Was wheeler just off tn?

  6. Good news: We didn’t get shutout, we won the series, and we don’t have to see these guys till August.

Bad news: We lost bad today, at home.

  7. it was encouraging to see them fighting back until the end, esp castellanos’ and stott’s hustle. i know the yankees are supposed to be a team wheeler just can’t quite pitch to, so is that what’s going to be expected from wheeler vs. ATL games too?

  8. Hopefully people forget about this game for Wheeler’s Cy Young.

I’ll take 2/3. Doubleheaders are always weird

  9. The “we did enough winning, we’re taking it easy for a while” that defines this era

  10. Won 2 of 3 and we’re still ahead of them in the division by 9.5 games. Shitty loss which unfortunately was due to the rare bad Wheeler start, but we’re still chilling in 1st place.

  11. Won the series. Warning track power tonight.

I guarantee people will consider this game when comparing Wheeler and Sale for Cy Young.

  12. Still a 2.96 ERA for Wheels. May not be a Cy Young year (even he was robbed more than once), but he’s been stellar, tonight aside from

  13. Funny seeing people here cope about the series “win.” Try looking at the series run diferential. The same people say we aren’t supposed to criticize this team 😂

Edit: Downvotes? That’s what happens when you have no arguments left.

  14. Not even at all star break. This game isn’t going to determine the Cy Young. Every starter has a clunker.

  15. Shrugged off – Won the Series without one of our top performers – Clearly we are the better team. On to the next one.

  16. Did I just hear Ricky Bo say….”it’s just one game” when it was loss????

  17. Got downvoted in the gdt for saying this but trade ranger asap for a competent center fielder who can actually hit and a reliever. Otherwise we let him walk cause we aren’t resigning him

  18. At the end of the day each team walked away with a win and a loss, we may have lost a pitching title but they may have lost a pitcher for the season.

We definitely got the better outcome.

  19. Stinks we finally reached the 20 loss mark, but 4 straight series wins, even up the season series against the Barves, and drop them a bit back in the division. Honest work
