Chris Sale finally getting run support in a game.

Can we take a few runs from game 2 and add them to game 1?
At least Iggy only almost gave up 2 hrs instead of actually giving up 2 hrs
Somebody bust out the 3rd place celebration meme
This team has had so many problems offensively but they’ve gotten out and beaten up on Zack Wheeler twice now
This team makes no damn sense and they drive me nuts sometimes, but I just can’t quit them
Great outing by Sale; but I’m so over the 2025 Iggy experiment.
Games like this get me so hype. We may even rattle off 4 in a row and I’ll be fully in. Then, we’ll drop 3 of the next 4 and I’ll be sad again.
It’s been a very vicious season in that regard.
Iggy has the yips. He needs to burn some sage.
Some interesting relief pitchers have been getting moved recently.
Ofc the Dodgers were first to pounce on the inevitable Alexis Diaz trade and I’m guessing he will turn out to be a steal for them but the Brewers did also let go of Joel Payamps who has been pretty solid up until this year.
Thankfully we salvaged what was a shitty start to the day but it’s time for AA to get active and improve this roster.
Hopefully not facing WS contenders coming up will allow this team to go on a run of sorts.
Time to bring in Chavez and Kimbrel

There will be those that say the best part of tonight is that the Atlanta Braves won, but I would remind those folks that the Philadelphia phillies lost tonight.
Nick Allen just have a contusion?
I kinda hate the new schedule. It’s nuts we haven’t played the Mets yet.
I’ll take the W, let’s go home and rattle off some more
Well, the first win since Saturday (Christ, that hurts to type) so we’re not fuckin’ on the Braves bed tonight, but maybe doing hand stuff on the Braves bed tonight.
I love this team IdGaf
Maybe since we won, Phillies fans will stay out of our post game thread. And if they say, “well, we’re still in first place” I’ll say, “well, 2021 is a lot more recent than 2008.”
Need Harris to figure it out now.
You think AA ever checks our threads out
This win really says a lot about this team I think. I still believe they have it in them. I was afraid they were gonna come out flat tonight. It takes a lot to pick yourself up after all those injuries and such a demoralizing loss in game 1, especially against one of the best teams and best pitchers in baseball.
Sale is in his old CY winner form and I’m loving it.
Iggy looks cooked. He didn’t throw any sliders tonight, but still gave up two 100+ mph hits.
I wonder if the Orioles will move Baustista.
Well at least that salvages it a bit. Still a pretty big disappointment to lose 2 out of 3, lose half the team to injuries, and get screwed out of a comeback (well, probably wouldn’t happen, but still) by the umps. Phuck the Phillies. Goodnight.
Chris Sale seems like the kind of guy who tells you “I don’t have that Facebook shit.”
Snit said to assume Fairchild is going to the IL. Kelenic and Kelenic Guy are probably back.
Nick Allen’s X-rays were negative.
