Zion & Lonzo Ball could have been special #nba #neworleanspelicans #zionwilliamson #lonzoball

I was sitting here reminiscing. I was thinking about one of the most underrated NBA duos that just never got the time to really sprout and grow was Zion Allonzo Ball. Still to this day, Zion has not had a point guard like Lonzo Ball. Zion still hasn’t had the easiest shots set up for him like Lonzo, man. Zion and Lonzo went together like peanut butter and jelly, like gravy on some white rice. They went together like shrimp fried rice and some soy sauce. Zion and Lonzo were that. From the high-flying Ali oops, the halfcourt alioops and finding ways to pick and rolls and all that. It was just beautiful basketball. And honestly, that’s what the Pelicans have been missing. They’ve been missing a point guard like that to set everybody up. Still been searching for that. You got a little bit of that with De Jante. Unfortunately, he went down. But still, you still ain’t had that type of point guard floor general since Lonzo Ball left. And not having Lonzo in New Orleans just gave me a bigger appreciation for floor general point guards. You know, Alfred Peyton came in and just showed how easy it is to run a pick and roll. You know, you look at Jadarius Garland, your Tyresese Hallebertton, these real floor generals. Chris Paul back in the day, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd. Four general point guards are so important to a team cuz they sit there and orchestrate and get everybody shots. Everybody eats B.
