hearing about the work these guys put in, should make barkley feel bad for not putting in the effort to the fullest. michael made a statement on oprah to charles about not winning and this is one of the reasons what mike said was so true.
That's greatness

Some of today's players don't practice, nor work out like the players of the past
Could you imagine MJ, Scottie, and Dennis playing now with these guys who miss a week for a jammed finger or their period came. πππ
Players in average were much leaner in the 90s, that's why the average weight is like 4 to 6 lb lighter than today's players, bit you have to take in consideration players like Jokic, Embiid and Zion who are rather heavy in fat % and put them into the equation, most all star caliber players in the early 90s were extremely lean, just look at action photos from Clyde Drexler, Scottie, David Robinson, Larry Johnson and Karl Malone, they were muscular and strong, but they were leaner than today's all stars in average.
Rodman is the rebound π
BIG THREE
big 3 GOAT
I love hearing RODMAN'S behind the scenes back stories! You know that he has nothing to lose by being honest πESPECIALLY ABOUT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE, "JORDAN RULES "while RODMAN'S time with the, "DETROIT PISTONS!" WITH THOSE FACT'S, WE KNOW WHY MJ DIDN'T LIKE ISHAH THOMAS!π€£πβοΈ
When you are great you fool people into thinking itβs easy. These guys were great at their roles that players think now I made it in the NBA weβre on the same level but that when the real work begins
I love this. I have never heard this story
3% body fat is a bit of a stretch if he said like 8% it would be more believable but 3% for a NBA season is not realistic

Nice
For reference, 3,4% body fat is ridiculously low. Bodybuilders spend an entire year preparing for competitions / shows to come in at that level, for only a period of time. 2, 3 times in a year. With "chemical assistance".
These guys competing all season long at those levels is insane, especially in the type of sport.
In contrast, today's athletes get payed $200M and need weight clauses in their contracts to stay under a weight figure – which is clearly excessive anyway.
If you had to play against MJ in practice the games were easy in comparison. That was MJs deliberate strategy and nobody can say it wasn't successful.
Dennis Rodman to the bulls was the best move ever in basketball. Helped the second half of the Jordan legend. IMHO Rodman was a better basketball player than Michael Jordan. Jordan could have been replaced by 100 different guys on those last 3 bulls teams with him as the superstar. Steve Kerr. Dennis Rodman. Scottie bitch Pippen. All 3 more important than Jordan to those teams. Allen Iverson on those team would have come close to doubling every stat MJ recorded and Kobe would have bent Jordan's records over and fucked them straight up the ass. Kobe was better than Jordan. Worked harder had the same talent. Iverson was more talented.
Thatβs what professional athletes are supposed to do. Nobody sitting around, playing video games and eating cheeseburgers π π
Ive heard Mike & Scottie both tell the running laps story πππ
Hated that running practice during Track and Field Season. Coach even made us discus and shot putt throwers do the same regimen. Told the little speedsters we could catch them in the locker roomβ¦they slowed and let us pass the team.ππ
And that, is how you stay mentally tough, unlike Leflop!
ββ¦Iβd punch somebodyβ πππ
Similar to what Ronnie Coleman said. 0.33% bf πππ.
3% bf can't be sustainable for athletes.
That's Good Stuff!!!!
