Sasha Barkov, Flying Back to Edmonton: Florida Panthers Day After Game 4 Cup Loss
late yeah got some movies got some books maybe a little sleep uh just a little bit about last night i mean you guys three overtime games now in this series what’s it like playing in those pressure packs i mean where anything can happen and there’s so much weight on them yeah but I think when you’re in a game like you you don’t think about that like you just go with the flow and uh like yesterday obviously we had a good lead after first and uh it’s tough tough to give give that up but uh for sure for sure we’ll learn from it and moving forward what kind of changed last night in that second period to to turn turn the tide for them i think they started pushing harder they started playing better so they they scored some goals and got the momentum there but I think third period was was good by us like we had some uh good good moments there when your when your energy is being put into defending McDavid and dry side has it been harder for you in the series to maybe get to your own offensive game uh it’s it’s tough to say like obviously you need to know when those two guys are on the on the where they are on the ice so uh of course you’re you have you’re trying to have your head on a swivel but uh I I I think I I could be better for sure what is it like playing in these games where you sort sort of have a push from them a push from you guys and sort of like a back and forth kind of riding the waves what’s it like playing in a series like that yeah that that means there are two good teams playing against each other and both teams are playing on their with their strengths so uh we we’ve had good moments they’ve had good moments so the we all we got to do is learn from for example yesterday we got to learn from that game a lot and take take the good things to the game tomorrow and uh learn from the from the things that we can do a little better at this point you know the series is going to go at least six games and you guys have had some success in long series when a series goes long what’s the biggest key is it uh does it go back to your experience is it a conditioning thing what’s what’s the biggest the biggest focus in a long series uh both of those for sure but uh I think at the same time just stick stick with it stick with our game plan stick with what we’re doing and like I said earlier just learn from from what we can do a little better and take the good things from previous games and take them to the next game did the goalie change affect anything last night uh not not our game plan obviously he played really well he he scored uh he saved some some big scoring chances but uh he doesn’t change what we’re trying to do on the ice did you see a change in how they played in front of him because it did seem like they might have been collapsing a little bit more around him than they were in front of Skinner i don’t know like obviously second period was uh was was good period by them like they played really well offensively and uh we didn’t get much much going uh offensively as well but all we got to do is just concentrate on next one you’ve been through this before when you look around the room is there any messaging you give or do you know everyone’s been through this before with you guys last year i think we’re very very well experienced we know we know how how it needs to be done and uh but yeah like you need everyone need to need to bring their best uh to the next game and you’re going to obviously it’s going to be a crazy environment tomorrow night uh but you guys have been this is year number three of going to those kind of places does that help you guys as far as handling that do you think yeah for sure and we’re excited it’s going to be a great atmosphere once again uh they know how to how to cheer so it’s it’s going to be loud and fun how does how does a short turnaround either help or hurt after coming off another overtime game does does it help or hurt either team that you only don’t have another extra day in between uh yeah of course it’s it’s tough like to jump on the plane the next day like we feels

Where tf has this guy been all series..wakey wakey time to show up
He looked heartbroken when he took the delay of game penalty 😢. Love this guy. Hes going to have a big game 5!
Is barkov still alive ??
People hating on barky have no puck knowledge
I will be shocked if this DOESN'T go to 7 games.
This guy has been invisible…Sasha needs a wake up call.!
We love you Barkov, ❤ We know you'll find your game! Your such a great person. Need you to find the back of the Net big guy! Go Panthers!!
Due I'm a die hard Oilers fan I love barkov he a great player and a great man .. love him hell of a hockey player
2W coming
Barkov played the worst game of his playoff career last night. Could use some leadership when you guys were collapsing, handing lead over.
He’s going to play the next games Amazingly.!!! That’s Our Freakn Capt!!
He looks like enjoys farting in elevators
He’s too busy tryna shut the big boys down and he’s doing a good job allowing Bennett to get more looks. If he doesn’t put all his focus on 97 the panthers are done tbh, look what happened last year.
Panthers should of learned from game 1 when they played defensive hockey in the third period. They did the same thing in the second period of game 4.
