i know the Blues had no place being here and I and I understand that however they showed dominance at home they had the lead in this game and with a couple of seconds left in regulation they just I can’t say the words but you know we go to doubleot obviously we know what happened this is brutal the the Blues were the better team for majority of tonight’s game um this one hurts besides doing this podcast I’m a fan first and uh this game’s going to haunt me this game is going to haunt me we were under two seconds away i’ll talk to you more about it i I really don’t know how I’m supposed to compose my thoughts i’m going to need like a little bit to uh to decompress right now

This was brutal but I am still proud that a team that wasn’t supposed to be in the playoffs put up the biggest fight in it. No flukes or skating by – their wins were big ones. This hurts though.
They struggled all year when the other team pulled their goalie. What a disappointing way to end the season.

the blues were NOT the better team for MAJORITY of the game, the jets slowly took over this game midway thru the second and if it wasnt for our average Hellybuck we would have won this game without a need for 2OT

Same thing happened to the bruins in the finals against chicago.they outplayed Chicago in 5 of 6 games and still didn't get to game 7.thats hockey plain and simple and you better get used to it very few teams win more than lose in the playoffs
As a Jets fan, I feel y'alls pain of 1st round let-downs. I was givIng up and cursing my Jets down 3-1 with 5 minutes left. Your 8th seed pushed us almost to elimination. Your team will always have 2019, and this was our day.
I’m on the fire Steve Ott bandwagon now. No excuses to lose a game like that. This time it wasn’t a player and skill issue. It was a focus issue. And from what I read, this falls on the assistant coaches hands. Yeah it’s possible they couldn’t have gotten past the 2nd round even if they did win last night. But it would have been great to get that milestone. In the end it’s better to get blown out than lose like this.
