With 47.9 seconds to go, the empty net for Buffalo pushes it to 53 Sabres.

Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan McLeod had a career year during his first season with the team. After being acquired via trade from the Edmonton Oilers in July 2024, McLeod proved his top-six abilities in Buffalo. He scored 20 goals and had 33 assists (topping his previous career highs), played a role on the penalty kill’s first unit, won faceoffs (52.3%) and fit smoothly into the lineup as a center.
