Clark Gillies had an amazing career with the New York Islanders, playing 872 games and recording 304 goals, 359 assists, and a +244 plus-minus rating, as detailed in the sports card above. He was a key part of the Islanders’ dynasty, contributing to four consecutive Stanley Cup championships from 1980 to 1983. Known for his physicality and scoring ability, Gillies was a first-line left winger and a fan favorite. His jersey number 9 was retired by the Islanders in 1996, and he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2002.
