9. At what point is it panic time for Buchelnikov? He has 1 assist in 9 games. He does primarily play first line and I believe second power play, but was last year a flash in the pan? If he finishes with let’s say 20 points this season, does Yzerman even sign him? Time will tell I guess

15. I like Buchelnikov and Kiiskinen. Way too early to determine how they will turn out here in NA due to there season in the KHL and Liiga thus far. However, the Red Wings have enough in the pool that can fill their slots if needed.

16. It’s frustrating when yzerman doesn’t make a big splashy free agent move, but it’s fun, and oh so satisfying, when our very own prospects excel. I know we may eventually need to trade some of them for a big free agent, but our depth is really exciting too. Seems like we have a number of guys who could step right in when needed.
