Would You Give Kyle Schwarber a Five-Year Deal to Keep Him in Philadelphia? #phillies #ringthebell

I’d be shocked if Kyle Schwarber was not back in a Philly’s uniform only because there is no chance in hell that they’re going to allow him to leave. They won’t be outbid. I can’t imagine a world where John Middleton says, “No, I’m not going to go fifth year. Sorry, I was willing to go four years with you, Kyle. I’m not going a fifth year. I’m going to go ahead and let you go to the Red Sox or the Yankees or the Mets or whoever.” So, I do not believe Kyle Schwarber is going to be gone. I guess the question is, should they consider not bringing him back? I don’t know. Ray Dunn, do you think he’s back? I think he’s back, but would you give him the fifth year? Yes. You specifically would give him the fifth year. If it meant losing him or giving him the fifth year, why do I care? This team’s cooked once once once the once they’re done this run and Trey Turner isn’t isn’t good anymore, which is coming. Once Bryce Harper isn’t as good anymore, which coming, right? Like you have JT. They’re bring they’re gonna bring JT back, too. It’s a matter does he get three years or he get two years. They’re bringing all these old guys back, dude. He’s coming back. He’s giving the fifth year. And yeah, I’m giving him the fifth year. Yeah.

  1. Signing Schwarber would be a disaster. You will have 100+ million of dead money in 2 years. Turner, Schwarber, Nola, JT, etc . Let him walk and get a #1 pitcher.
