I’m typically an insanely optimistic fan of my teams. But the sixers paying embiid and Paul George enough to feed my great great great great great great grand children to just sit on the bench makes me wanna puke. I’ll get downvoted for this, but I think Morey is a massive fraud
Let me kick this off the right way. We are all mentally beaten down. We can start with the Process years and missing on draft picks and roll into Game 7 Kawhi and losing Jimmy and suffering with Simmons and Fultz and Kawhi stilll lingering in our heads and then Harden and Doc and Embiids health (rinse and repeat) and PG wtf etc.
BUT with the bottom dropping out last year we perhaps saw our fates change. VJ could be the savior in so many ways. McCain gave us hope too. Maxey has a path to bring elite back into our minds. The Grimes drama still ended with him being her this year and being a big time factor. There are assets (KO) on the roster that could bring back value at the deadline. Bona and Barlow look like legit contributors. OH and hey there are guys like Embiid and Paul George who by chance could be cherries on top. Wait did some onesay Trenton Watford? Would like to see what he can do too.
In summary…we are beaten down. Mentally burnt out. But F it! We are back! Let’s rewrite history here and actually win opening night in Boston and bring some positivity back to this franchise. 10-9-8……
