Scott Mayfield’s EMBARRASSING Game vs Philadelphia Flyers

Very quickly the linesman jump in and there is a massive cut on the head of Mayfield. Terrific job by Hathaway. Great energy. Might have been the wrong side of the bed bush, but it works. We’ll be back. One- nothing lead here this afternoon on a short-handed goal by Simon Holmstrom. But Garnet Hathaway, you could just get the sense he’s trying to get his team energized, getting them going. Three hits on the afternoon so far for Hathaway. And Mayfield asks him to go and Ha Hathaway says, “Yeah, no problem. I’ll take you on.” And a spirited fight between Haway and Mayfield. A fight that saw Hathaway end up with the upper hand. And Mayfield looking like he’s going to need some repairs. Point effort for Ziggress as a Flyer for the first time. fires after this puck. Grabbank in caught offside and then we get a little gather. Grabbankin and Sikas. Grabbankin not taking anything from the veteran. And then Hathaway still cornering and Mayfield as they get together for a second time. I I think Hathaway is lucky here that that Mayfield is going to go with Hathaway because Haway ripped off the helmet of Mayfield. And now Ables having a word. Yeah, Mayfield trying to draw a penalty there and he may have succeeded. Mayfield on his way to the box. Two Islanders on Obles in the corner now. Now watch how Haway gets involved with Mayfield here and he rips off the helmet right there. I mean they take both of them. I guess the technicality they could have just taken half away but both go and then after that a lot more fireworks took place. I think uh Scott might have worked on the acting lesson halfway as he went to the slot gets clipped behind the play and a penalty is caught. So the Flyers will get another chance to tie this game with a bad advantage when we come back. Watch the stick come up and clip Sean Couturier off of Seas. They continue to ditch. They score. They’re all digging away. It’s a power play goal and the Flyers have tied it at three. Take your pick on who got the goal. I think it’s going to be Kates to Couturier. takes the quick shot and the save made juggled by Sroken and he grabs it and tipp it and Mayfield everybody’s going after Mayfield today. Yeah, Kur Mayfield. Mayfield looking like he’s going to need some repairs.

New York Islanders defenseman Scott Mayfield got beat up and bloodied in a fight, got caught flopping at center ice, and took a stupid penalty that lead to the Flyers tying the game. It was very obvious the Flyers were in his head.

  2. Mayfield is another clown tough guy, waste of a roster spot the Islanders seem to insist on having then wonder why they can't contend.
    They kept those unproductive losers Matt Martin and Cal Clutterbuck in the lineup for years! Martin and Clutterbuck and now Mayfield are useless punks who are liabilities and a waste of a roster spot.
