  1. Happy to hear! Some Vikings injury news

Vikings EDGE Andrew Van Ginkel (neck) is questionable for Minnesota’s Week 9 game against the Lions.
Head coach Kevin O’Connell said he “anticipates” having Van Ginkel on Sunday. The talented 30-year-old edge player has missed the last four games with a neck injury, but is finally practicing and could provide the Vikings defense with a boost in a tough matchup against Detroit.

Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw (knee) is questionable for Minnesota’s Week 9 game against the Lions.
So is Brian O’Neill (knee), which could leave Kevin O’Connell trying to chip most of the game to build enough protection for J.J. McCarthy. Darrisaw did practice today, and O’Neill has been limited for most of the week. It does feel like those two have a real chance at going on Sunday, but they both appear to be true question marks right now.

  2. Can’t wait for DJ Reed to come back, we need some stability in the secondary even if we have the Legion of Whom in the wings
