This was always a schedule loss. Which is why Nick went all in on last night’s game and why it’s so disheartening that we lost. But it is what it is. Third game in four nights on the road and a B2B is just an acceptable loss.
This is why I was so mad about last nights loss, would’ve been fine going with a 1-1 split here.
4-0 to 5-7 would be catastrophic. If they lose to Toronto I can definitely see them losing both to Detroit and obviously losing to Boston isn’t exactly a challenge for this franchise
I don’t understand how Barlow can miss this much time from an elbow cut. was it that bad that he needed stitches or something? have the Sixers released any actual information about it??
The vibes

6-2 would’ve felt so much better. Shoulda won yesterday.
Would it kill Joel to play 20 minutes a night on back to backs?
Just a week ago the vibes were immaculate apparently.
I’m not even mad that they’re starting to suck again, I’m mad that I let myself believe after that preseason finale, and then even more after the first few regular season games. I’m the sucker. A leopard can’t change its spots but I can learn to stop touching the stove when it’s hot.
Down by 11pts isn’t as bad as I expected. VJ had a bad game (they all do at some point). Grimes’s turnovers…….. the 3Q issue genuinely needs to be addressed. 35+min again for Oubre, VJ, and Maxey…..
But most importantly, PG needs to comeback. Even if on minute restriction. Better have 3 players on minute restrictions than this
I’m glad coach nurse is saying he wants his team to continue to fight but leaving your starters in for that long seems way too risky on a B2B. Especially since we have another B2B Saturday & Sunday! Sheesh
Watford needs to start the next game. He looks like he can take away some ball handling duties away from Maxey and set the table. I wanna see Maxey be effective off the ball.
It’s literally just fatigue. Give the guys a game off instead of grinding an extra 3 losses in 4 games
Scheduled loss. They’ll win Saturday, I’m sure of it.
I think we’re the better team. We have more talent and are as deep. I’d pick us in a series if everyone is healthy.
Need VJ to get back on track. I think he’ll figure it out.
huh , ig Joel wasn’t the problem
It’s a game in November plus we haven’t seen this team fully healthy yet there’s a lot of positives to look forward to
To some degree I get Nicks approach in that he doesn’t want his guys giving up on games and playing tough leading to the big minutes but it’s a really big gamble to be taking this early in the season. Hope it pays off.

The eastern conference is going to be a very tight race imo. But we’re still in it! I’m confident that we’re going to have a better year than last year at least
If PG isn’t back against Toronto , then idk what is going on lol
I know we have been a bit short handed but VJ averaging almost 39 min a game is insane.
I blocked all the Nick Nurse fans are they still making excuses for him?
We’re Back
Sigh…
Nurse needs to be smarter with these minutes it’s a long season and he is already wearing these guys out
No matter the players. No matter the coach. No matter the opponent. The Philadelphia 76ers are incapable of playing basketball in the 3rd quarter.
