OT WINNER completes HAT TRICK for NEMEC 🧢😈

28 seconds popped out of the corner. Seanthaler hands it off. Meyer plays it across. Nez
locates and heir gains the Chicago line. Drop back. Nemits on the rush on the
back hand. He scores. Simone Nemitz. Well, and this is on the transition and he sure
comes in across the zone and just a little delay high in the zone and Bard goes for the stick check
and can’t quite catch him and just almost the long reach fools Knight a little bit as he goes across
the backand is always a tough shot to read for a goalender. Little bit of deception and just finds
enough. Donado tied up at the side of the cage by Seanthaler and the Devils will find a way out.
Hughes makes a move on Baddard at center. Hughes pulls up waiting for support. Jack Hughes locates
a man on the outside and the Devils score to tie the game with 346 to go. A beautiful passing play.
And guess who? Simone Netts involved once again. Another clutch goal. Well, that’s what we’ve seen
from the Devils all night. They have been able to get up the ice quickly and it’s Hughes that comes
through the neutral zone and then he waits for the support and just a beautiful backhand pass and
the poise and the patience cuz this all starts. It’s Hughes that makes the move on Bard. He’s
trying to communicate to make sure they get the coverage back. How many times have we seen the
delay? That’s an elite backhand pass. Head off looking for an outlet. He forgot about Gritchick
who gets the steal and Nico Heir will now possess Luke Hughes with two minutes remaining
in overtime. Heir over the red line. The Devils captain drop pass. Mercer cuts, spins,
opens on his backand leaves it for Luke Hughes. goes to the outside, drives in, and
Knight is there once again. Left P, right? Spencer Knight has been
exceptional. Markstrom stretch pass. He has Chicago caught. Ne for the hat
trick and the overtime winner, Simone Nitz. An alltime performance. He singlehandedly
brings the Devils back and wins it in overtime. Alex, you called it. You said, “Is he
going to be out there for overtime?” Well, absolutely. What a play by Nemits. He had five
career goals before his tying goal on Monday, and now he has a hat-tick tonight. Look at the
awareness and that is a beautiful shot knowing how much time you have and the release. Marstrom,
he deserves some great credit for the pass all the way up to the far blue line and just snaps it
home top shelf. What a night for Nemits. Yeah, I was watching Luke Hughes coming off after
he had such a great chance. Kept that play alive all the way back to zone end. Wanted to
change who came on? Nemits. And he stretched it right out to the blue line right here. What an
absolute perfect pass. Caught in a line change, Chicago. And quick up. You wanted a quick
up, Jen. They gave it to you a couple minutes later and it was to the right
guy. What a game. What a performance.

Devils defenseman Simon Nemec scores three times, including the overtime winner, recording the hat trick and leading NJ to a 4-3 victory over the Blackhawks

  1. The Devils already pointed on Luke Hughes name by giving him that contract… I dont see Nemec staying at Devils. They will trade him by the end of the season. Im sure of it.

  2. coach keefe is total idiot. He hates Simon Nemec and now he speaks it openly. Monday after Nemec scores game-tying goal 4 seconds before end of game, and redactor asks Keefe that he finally trust Nemec and raise of his ice time is because of his grat playing, that idiot said no, it is because of 3 injured defenders. Now after Nemec scored hattrick and game winning goal in OT, redactor asks Keefe question about Nemec, and Keefe quickly turn all spotlight to Luke Hughes, and how great game Luke Hughes played. By the way Hughes played terrible, that Blackhawks goal against Hughes was proof. But Keefe is openly hating Nemec. If Simon Would scores 5 goals in one game, that idiot will tell that Hughes played excellent. Keefe sucks in Toronto, and now is sucking big in NJ. Devils should fired that idiot

  3. Am I blind, or is there genuinely no one throwing hats onto the ice after a hat-trick?! That's pretty embarrassing… lets go Nemo 💪🇸🇰🏒

  4. Look: Šimon dont have a chance with this coach. I told it last year, CHANGE? TRANSFER. He is too good for NJ. Anywhere, incl. San Jose. Dont let this guy died. When injur. players turn, Šimon will sit on tribune again. Will see, Why the fuk u take 2nd draft choice? Why?
