NHL Highlights | Blues vs. Devils – November 26, 2025
watching some New Jersey Devils hockey at the Rock and we’re underway. Thanks for joining us on this Wednesday. Seanthaler hits the red line, sends it down. And last we saw Seanthaler. He was pounding on Lucas Raymond of the St. Louis of the Detroit Red Wings. St. Louis Blues. Bush Nevich can’t get around Seganthaler. Bouncing puck to the blue line. It’s held in by Jordan Kyu. Cut off by Hamilton. Hamilton to Brat. Grat can’t escape thanks to Bush Nevich, but he finds Hamilton who brings it into the Devil’s zone for their first opportunity offensively. Sharp angle shot stick to side. Rebound and a save. It’s loose. Meer over skated off the original shot by the captain, Nikicohir. From the Heir line, that’s what you want. You want the lines to roll and put pressure on. There’s the opportunity after the Hamilton shot on net by Niko Heir. Rebound comes right out to him. Puck sits there in the blue paint and Teimo Meyer tries to Oh my, look at that save. What a great overhead angle. Meyer. Brat in the corner as the Devil’s off to a good start, Kenny. Yeah, Bennington didn’t know where that puck was. Looked like it might have been behind him, but stays out. Mercer quick shot. Bennington makes the save. That Detroit game, they were defending a lot. Puck bounced off the Fowlers’s stick. Otherwise, he might have had a shot on goal. Joseph back up top. Shot gets deflected between the circles. Centering pass to Fowler. Blasts one and scores from the near circle. Cam Fowler and the Blues get off to a good start. They’re up one nothing in the first two and 1/2 minutes and the result is what they wanted from a pretty sharp angle. But he wires this. There’s a little traffic in front. You see White maybe crossing over here. kind of gets in the sidelines and Mayu the assists on the Fowler goal. That’s Mayu’s first point of the season minus 14 in 10 games. Mercer centering pass and the shot goes wide by Leo. Oh, here’s a turnover created. They get it out. Mayu forced back because of Palopla that steals it away looking for Mercer but the stick gets in the way on the pass from D’vorski. Centering pass goes out to Ditzell and a big save by Bennington. Glass to Pot. Good chance there. Another one right through the scene looking for Dawson Mercer. D’vorski does a good job for the Blues. Settles it down and finds Nemits. Nez drops it off for Glen Denning to Nason with a shot. Save. Rebound was juicy in the slot, but the Blues able to clear to their boards. Well, you got to love the Devil’s process right now. They just can’t buy their goal. Both teams go up and down. And here comes the captain. Sets up Meer with a blast and a save by Bennington. Taken away by Brat. Can’t find Nico. Gets it back. Climbs the wall. Back to the point. Hamilton. He shovels a shot. Knocked right onto the stick of Tino who scores. Team Omire evens the game up at one. This one pays dividends. Let’s take a look at our million-dollar replay brought to you by the New Jersey Lottery. Remember, anything can happen in Jersey. And Brad gets it back to Hamilton. He just flicks that puck quickly toward the net and cars bounces off a body of the St. Louis blue defenseman right to Teemo Meer. Hea forced to play it off the wall trying to shake loose of Tucker. Tucker grabs it and he heaves it all the way down. This power play brought to you by RWJ Barnabas Health, the official healthc care provider. Holloway some room. Rips a shot off the glove of Marstrom. Brits look first to get there. Can’t clear. Loose Keith. Broberg finds Faulk. Faulk some room. Drives towards the net and a save by Marstrom. Rebound. Another save by Marstrom. Goes to Thomas. His centering pass goes off a stick. Bush Neich kicks it back to Thomas up top for Fowler. Fowler. Thomas. Thomas at the circle. Thomas waits, fires a shot and scores, which at 11 seconds to go on the power play and the Blues retake the lead. It’s two to one. Well, this is a little too much room for a guy like Thomas. I think you got to pressure him. Creep to the middle off the half wall. Ballard does a good job walking the line. And watch up here. Want to see somebody come up a little more there because he can rip it and he makes the Devils pay here. So a little disjointed there on that PK. You got to press him a little bit more. Meer off the post. He gets his own rebound. Puts it back behind the net. Two posts already. Kenny. Yeah, almost answered right away. Just keep going if you’re the Devils and almost got rewarded there. But again, you just got to keep things simple. Don’t change again their process. I like what we’ve seen so far. Carter shot, save, rebound. Nason behind the net, tries to stuff it far side. Centering pass C. Save. Rebound kicks wide. Devils. Sean Fer out. Lets it back out. Nason helps it along. Bouncing puck. Here’s Teemo with an opportunity and a save and the rebound goes wide and out of the zone. The Blues come with Shen. That was You’re outplaying your opponent. You find yourselves. Now, the key is how do you respond? How do you react? Don’t get frustrated. Stay with what you’re doing and don’t start cheating a little bit or whatever it may be and give up too many opportunities. Sean Fer intercepted by Neighbors. Neighbors centering pass doesn’t connect quite with Thomas but finds Faulk with a shot and a save by Marstrom. So the the game was over. Little for arm shiver I think on Lucas Raymond if I’m not mistaken. Like to see that part from him as well. Sharp angle shot like anchor man. Whatever you put on the screen, you’re going to read, right? Or you’re not supposed to. No. White Brown. Save by Bennington. Forces it back behind the net, but it’s Joseph that gets there first. Walker chops at it. Sunquist. He’s got a possibility of a break. Devils trying to get back. Sunquist back at save by Marstrom. Let’s take a look at this replay brought to you by your local Tri-State Buick dealers. And it’s Sunquist picks up a bouncing puck that Douggee Hamilton can’t control. He comes across maybe a little over aggressive and you got to be careful there, but Sunquist walks in. And look at our Cinei Gitriz right here down. Yeah. Comes back helping Hamilton out. Dino Meer the goal scorer. Nico Meyer. Hughes. Brad. Brad drives towards the net. Centers to Hughes out to Meyer with a shot save rebound. They score. The captain, Nicoer, puts in the rebound and we are tied at two. I got to tell you, Coach Ke when this power play started showed some frustration on some personnel, but this time it was still everything the perimeter. They couldn’t quite penetrate the front of the net. A few block shots and they stayed patient. And it starts with a nice pass there from Luke Hughes to team Omire for a one-time blast. Good save there by Bennington. But look at the captain. Calm, cool, and collected in front and gets the rebound off the Well, Dan, would you say the game’s been a push? First period, Jordan Bennington with the best player. Second period, Jacob Marshham with the best player and you got an even game. You do. I think the Devils might have had a little better of the play, but the second, you’re right, Bryce. St. Blues came on the one in Philly in 2012 in overtime. Empty netter was considered a short-handed goal. So maybe we got to include postseason. Yes, we don’t include postseason. Big save. Snugaroon with two shots and marstrom strong. Hesitation fake shot to move to the middle by Kyu. There’s one good stop there. I think that one and the Devils will have it back into their own end with five and Nez is just going to settle it down. And both teams are going to get a point. And for the fifth time in the last six home games seeque squeeze a point which they did and like the Devils chances here getting the extra one. Pirer Mercer Hughes big possession for the Devils. Brat between the circles. Brat between the legs gets it back. He is so good. Looking for an angle. Hamilton shot off the glove of Inington and wide. Oh St. Lewis got their change. They got lucky on that one. Nemits still out there for the Devils. He’s got ahead of steam. Brings it in. Nemits waits for his mates. Here’s Heir back behind the net. Goes through Thomas. Gets it back out to Ne. Nez again. What a pitch fork in this one. Devils win it three to two in OT. of the game presented by your local fourth Steelers. And the Devils had a lot of puck possession probably the last two and a half minutes of this overtime and eventually they wear the Blues down. Nico Heir goes behind the net. Looks like he almost loses it here, but he stays with it. Thomas gets on the wrong side of him and he finds Nemits coming down on the left side. He opens up. He’s a right-handed shooter. No chance for Bennington and the Devils win it. What a game and the captain again had a big game. That is your built court for tough play of the game. It’s a huge one. Nemits in overtime. 9 and1 on home ice. First time in franchise history.
Nico Hischier led the way on offence with three points, including the assist on Simon Nemac’s OT-winner as the New Jersey Devils edged the St. Louis Blues 3-2.

That first Markstrom goal is absolutely brutal. Bounced back though.
"Brought to you by the New Jersey Lottery. Remember anything can happen in Jersey!"
brilliant game for hischier.
Nemec clutch again!
Devils looking stable without Jack Hughes for now… solid game. I really like their 3 x 3 overtimes.
I'd trade Kyrou for a pack of peanuts and a neck guard for Binner.
This game captures the Blues season perfectly. They look decent and then fall apart.
Blues are 0-7 after regulation
(0-5 in OT and 0-2 in shootouts)
They’ve played 23 games, that’s an average of a loss in OT every 3.2 games, just insanely bad
Congrats to the Devils for beating the St. Louis Make-A-Wish team!
Real classy, New Jersey
Hischier is looking terrific.
