Career-high or season-low for Maxey, same result for Glenn Rivers and the Bucks.
Sixers win their first B2B of the season
3 wins in a row
PG the MVP
Another Double digit win
13-9
Well done!
Also the Bucks are so ass they can’t even beat an exhausted Sixers on their 2nd half of a B2B on their own home court without Giannis on not one but two occasions.
Honestly? This team is looking really decent lately
This is why it’s always been meaningless that so many are propising to get rid of PG13 and attach valuable assets to move him for a slight upgrade that won’t put them closer to contention. This is what he can bring to the table, obviously not a max player, but can still be a positive contributor when healthy.
The PG that was promised.
Second night of a back to back with travel to another time zone and facing a shorthanded Doc. EZ dub.
Good win on a B2B! Bucks really suck without Giannis but still.
Impressed by PG, single handedly avoided fourth quarter collapse. I know he wasn’t always great here and hardly played, but this is exactly what we need. Just a complete player when he’s on. Stepped up when Maxey had a down game.
PG with a really fantastic game and helped stabilize the Sixers when it looked like the other team was going on a run. Maxey still played too many minutes, like Nurse please cut his workload down just like 2-3 minutes at least. Nice to get a win on a road b2b even if against a bad team.
Bummer about Maxey doing little scoring tonight, but more importantly they didn’t collapse and lose, they won (And VJ scored an efficient 12 😀)
Keep the win streak going!
Best PG game of the season obviously, but he’s been low key solid all year. Like I said earlier on, they look better without Embiid if PG plays. Sorry not sorry.
Game thoughts:
-I still wish we had a better way of attacking the full-court press/double Tyrese immediately/seal off Maxey like he’s Curry defense, but credit to the guys for playing 4 on 4 basketball for the first time effectively.
-A big part of that is Paul George, way to play dude. Now if you can get on the court consistently, you might earn back Philly rep.
-But I thought Tyrese’s defense was outstanding tonight and for a lot of this season. 4 steals, and that doesn’t say the half of it. Just hounded the Bucks all night.
-Thought McCain did some good things too, and VJ is so fucking clutch and that’s a trait that’ll bode well for his career.
Best PG game as a sixer
Probably one of the most complete games PG has played with us, he looked like his old self.
I’ve always been one of Embiid’s biggest fans, but I will say I feel the team as a whole is starting to take Maxey’s always positive and fun vibes and moving away from Embiid’s vibes – which have not always been the best
BREAKING: Nurse fucks Doc on live TV
PG made superstar shots in the clutch. Bucks threw every wing defender they had on him and he kept draining that middie. Best game as a Sixer by far.
Can’t believe we won back to back
Glad PG carried tonight and everyone else chipped in, also looks like he’s free of the minutes restrictions so that’s an improvement
Nature is healing… PG looked smooth, the knee looked good, and we actually closed out a game comfortably. Podcast P? NAH tonight we got a bit of Playoff P

Wait the nephews said PG was washed though????? Lol
hot take, but I think we can go 9-1 over this stretch from the wiz to okc
Jabari Walker legacy first half
Play the song
5 game win streak agenda is alive. Let’s go fellas
Alternating games between PG and Joel lowkey might work. As long as the guys who always play (Maxey, Q, VJ) know how to alter their approach based on that lineup configuration.
Need a clip of that beautiful PG nutmeg to VJ
edit
not a nutmeg 🙁 I have bad eyes and low bitrate 🙁
Grimes +15 with a casual 6/7 from three
With Tyrese Maxey (probably) being tired from playing last night, and just the overall workload, the frontcourt came to life (along with Quentin Grimes), Jabari Walker and PG, both had big games! Grabbing b2b wins is great and now a big test come Sunday!
Pause. Giannis got 2 of his brothers playing for the bucks??????
I fully thought Alex was on the court but saw him on the injured list
Alright! Good to see Jabari Walker turn to Dirk for a minute and Paul George not be Fall George
Team doing good, but sucks to see the shamrocks beat the Lakers. When will their reign of terror end? This is why I’m fine with OKC doing what they’re doing. Would you want Boston to be in that position instead? **Hell nah**
Adem Bona’s rebounding looks much improved since his return ngl, he keeps working on that and he can be our 5 of the future tbh
PG balled out in the 4th quarter.
3rd win in a row!!! Who would’ve thought?
The highlights were definitely our defense, Walker’s 3s, PG overall and Grimes efficient shooting. Can’t even be too mad at his 5 turnovers when he’s 7/9 FGM. He was also passing the ball to McCain for the first time and reduced the amount of dribbling. It’s like he saw the million Reddit comments lmao
I’m excited for the lakers match up on Sunday. Mainly because they have a very different style of play. Although I can already tell that the lakers whistle is going to piss me off. Part of me feels like it could actually be a close match up, but this team is the least predictable team ever so you never know. We’ve been very lucky with star players sitting out games against us so I’m going to manifest that Luka is out on Sunday haha.
Surprisingly and refreshingly normal game
Don’t look now but the Sixers are two wins removed from the 2nd seed in the conference.
Literally been telling people that cry on here constantly is the regular season doesnt mean anything to the sixers at all. Just keep guys healthy and let Edge progress and mccain progress and show up on the road come playoffs with a healthy in shape joel and a healthy pg. Pg can still ball.
Do we know if VJ is on minute restriction or if they’re simply spreading the minutes amongst everyone? I felt like he came back quite late during the 4Q in these last 2 games. Made me wonder if he’s on a 25min minutes restriction.
Random but it pleases me greatly that the Celtics are somehow putting up a good record. Wouldve been infuriating if they tanked the no Tatum year and ended up if one of these elite prospects.
One benefit of having no picks is I am forced to root for wins. Days like this feel great.
Since the Hawks game
Sixers are 3-0
Hawks are 0-3
Perfectly balanced.
Walker and Barlow have been terrific value signings
If all goes well , should have Embiid vs the Lakers and he is definitely gonna be better than last game. Let’s go smack those mfers , especially considering that the Lakers are without Luka. And PG is up to 30 minutes a night.
