When Was the Last Time the Kings Had An Alpha #kings #sacramento #nba

Name the last time the Kings had a true leader on the team. Like a true number one alpha. Like for me, I think about it and like I hate to say it, but like Harrison Barnes to me was probably the only true quote unquote leader even though he was a soft spoken leader in that locker room the first year the Beam team was here. And then I feel like that was missed or lost after he left. And Mike Mike Brown even brought it up in his press conference two days ago. But like name a time where the Kings had a number one alpha that that really called out guys and led the group. >> Our test. I think we had this exact discussion yesterday. We landed on Ron our test. >> I mean because you could talk about guys like Harrison Barnes, Garrett Temple, >> and there’s leadership qualities to all of those guys, >> but but they they’re they’re leaders, but they can’t [clears throat] Vince Carter, >> but they can’t go get it on the basketball. You know what I mean? Last time they had somebody who was a leader who could actually execute what they’re telling everybody else to do was Ron Artes, >> which is wild, guys. Just absolutely wild that we haven’t been able to find one guy in how many years since Ronald Tess has been here that that can be the alpha one. >> Demarcus probably had his own form of leadership. It was just a unique style of leading. Didn’t really Didn’t really work for everybody. It didn’t really work for everybody.

  1. Ron Artest was my favorite player on the Pacers. No doubt in my mind they'd won A Chip if not for the Malice in the Palace incident.

He literally destroyed IU in the NCAA tournament when IU was IU and still had Bobby Knight. I believe St.Johns made at least the final 8 might have made final 4

Ron Artest was fun to watch. Fun to have on the team. Always made Me feel the team had a legit shot.
