Totally agree about the shooting version of Necas. He has a fucking nasty shot and I'd love to see him consistently use it more.
"The Avs special teams are horrible." This is an irresponsible sentence to say. They have one of the best, if not the best, PK in the league
PP is not a problem right this moment, but if one recalls what happened this past Playoffs, then it is a subject of concern. I mean, one could make an argument, that they lost due to poor PP play. There was a game 4 or 3, I cant recall, where they had 5-3 advantage against Dallas going into OT, and they failed to score, paving a way to Dallas's victory. PP is going to be their downfall, guaranteed, if they wont improve it to where is is somewhat respectable. Look, I am not asking them to leap all the way to the top of PP. All I am asking is being average. Just get to like something 20% success rate.
At this point why even have a powerplay system? Just tell them to ignore any change in the game and play the way they already were. It's baffling how bad it is and yet how great this team is.
First round exit because of PP. calling it now.
Anyone notice lately when the Avalanche score the other team gets a PP very shortly thereafter? It happened twice in this game.
Avs PP needs to use the time to rest their top 6. Send out the bottom 6 to run the PP lol
