It would seem all these guys want long term contracts that teams r not willing to pay. Could be cba related too.
You guys talk like you don’t understand how important Bo is to this line up. How is losing Bo and gaining Tucker making this team score more runs? If you want this team to get better it’s Bo and Tucker!
It’s not tuff to market Bo at all, he is one of the best hitters in the league and should get paid as such. We better hope the Yankees don’t sign him because pairing him with judge would be the end of our AL East reign.
There are more teams who are actively trying to win. Usually there are atleast half a dozen teams who are "rebuilding", trading established players for prospects or atleast aren't players in free agency. Aside from Cardinals who are the sellers? Rockies and Nats aren't buyers, but it can be argued aside from those 3 teams every other team is atleast somewhat. With more competition the market is going to be slower.
Good Lads. Mr. Boras is playing the system. Yes, it's a slow time, but I'm sure things will start to pick-up soon. I admit, I'm all in on Kyle Tucker. Thanks for sharing.
