Does Rich Paul love what money brings him or does he just love money?
If you don’t think about it, it makes total sense.
Except help us win a fucking chip while he was in his prime.
Some guys just want to make 5 career 3 pointers.
Damn Ben is really just done? I feel like he had more to bring but his back injuries screwed him.
I mean, that was noticeable about Ben during every January/February. Legit, those were his playoffs for HIM. Imagine if we had dumped him year 2/3(especially by year 3 it became undeniable.)
It’s water under the bridge, but it’s a lesson for every scout to try to parse “what’s between the ears” through hints: Is a guy diving on a loose ball in college? Does he feel a part of the team?
Basically, we can call this “Does he check the Maxey/VJ vibes or not” and if not, major red flag.
I remember getting hollered at for saying that I would’ve traded Ben for the rights to draft Luka in a goddamned heartbeat. Instead, the KANGZZZZ KANGZZZZed and the Hawks decided they would rather have the worst defensive player in the league. Fun times!
Mr. Adele is a snake
What does Rich Paul gain from talking shit about Ben Simmons on a podcast? He needs that Bluechew ad money?
Sounds pretty bitch made
Rich Paul: Ben Simmons wanted crippling back injuries
Larceny
It’s over, move on.
I don’t believe Ben enjoyed playing hoops. He was exceptionally good at it and knew it would bring him chicks and loot, so it was worth pursuing. But it always seemed like it was a job for him.
Remember when JoJo cried after the Raptors eliminated us? Opposing fans trolled him until he took the photo and made it his profile picture before grinding and becoming MVP. I’ll bet Ben hasn’t cried after a loss since middle school.
And it’s a shame because he was so talented. Should have been in discussions about where he fit among the elite but he was more interested in cashing checks than collecting rings. The most Sixery situation beyond Markel that I can imagine.
