REPORT: All Signs Point to Jonathan Gannon RETURNING as Cardinals Head Coach

ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler reports Jonathan Gannon is likely to return as Arizona Cardinals head coach despite a disastrous 2025 season.   7. If Mr. Bidwell chooses to bring Gannon back, he risks permanently losing the fan base. The calls for him to sell the team will only grow louder. These ongoing failures now point directly to ownership, not just the coach or GM. Even high draft picks offer little hope when past selections have been squandered. Right now, the organization is in complete disarray. Sad but true.

  8. Like most cardinal coaches, I sort of figured he’d go 2-3 seasons, win 2-4 games, get fired, spend some time away, enjoy his 💰 and then try to resurrect a coaching career in HS, college, or something

  10. Michael Bidwill is the most incompetent owner of just about any professional franchise. He is the definition of a loser. After 25 years, I'm done with the Cardinals. I'll still follow news around the team, but I am no longer supporting them or rooting for them. Bidwill won't get another dime from me. I enjoy watching the Chargers so I guess they will be my new team.

  11. IMO, JG has to go! I mean he has no excuse for allowing the miscues at every level of the team. It appears as if the culture of the team itself is poison and that starts and ends with him!

  12. Can’t even believe they are gonna run this back. Monti deserves a lot blame as well. You guys like to talk down about Steve Keim, but he never had drafts as bad as Monti’s are looking. And atleast he went after free agents. This entire regime we have is a freakin joke. No identity at all, no direction. We have a defensive coach, but i feel like this is the worst defense we have ever had here. Def the softest.

Bidwill likes Gannon and Monti so much but is giving them a playoff mandate with a roster that’s gonna have numerous holes to fill and the NFC is a gauntlet but he expects the Cardinals to reach that level overnight, it’s malpractice. Bidwill is setting up everyone to fail and they’ll all eventually be scapegoated like every former player, coach, and executive who have been with the Cardinals. Whatever rookie QB they draft is gonna have their growth stunted by the coaching staff or the bridge starter is gonna be thrown to the wolves. Our only hope is the other owners say enough is enough and force Bidwill out.

  25. Its not JGs fault for the injuries.
    Everyone got some experience this year.
    Just not ALL at the same time. We need two things…..

    Fire Petzing and find a viable QB…even if it's K1 again but all together now. K1 played what?, five games?….let's just see it running all together.
    With K1, Conner, murphy-bunting, DRob, starling 5th, tip ryman, etc…
    We need a right side o-line, a qb, a offensive coordinator, a new owner and were good.👍

  27. Firing Petzing and keeping Rallis would be legit comical. Rallis got completely exposed this year. That will tank the team next year just like it did this year

  28. What's the reason to keep JG? I still haven't heard ONE reason to keep him. Saying they like him isnt a reason to keep him – he is 15-35 ffs. he has 3-14 division wins in 3 seasons. His third year as HC has been his worst year. Where is the hope and optimism for his future with this organisation? He cannot be retained.
