I’m going to parrot a sentiment I have all season – Owen Power is reverse Rasmus Ristolainen. His good plays are unflashy and the times he messes up are really ugly. The good outweighs the bad.

He is still young , dmen don’t find their game until 25 ish and some after that a bit.
It’s only been half a season. Jury is still out
Definitely could be a solid trade piece for someone out west who doesn’t watch our games.
I’ll take a 2nd or 3rd line defenseman who’s good in our end, a veteran 3rd line forward with good WAR (see doan) for our cup run, and a prospect.
I’ll hang up and listen.

Ok, sorry about the confusion. Thought he was playing better this year. Historically he has been soft.
If Rick was alive, he might have said last night, “they are good, scary good!”
Wait. So do we still think this guys sucks or not.
I don’t understand why people are so insistent on trading him. When bringing up Dahlin and Samuelsson, no one is saying Power will be the same style or level of play as those two, it’s just that we gave them time to develop and now we’ve got two studs. If this is Power at 23, I think it’s absolutely worth investing more years to see what happens next. His price tag might seem big but the cap will go up and he’s still 1oa (even from a mediocre draft class, sure) Why are we in such a rush to throw him away when he wants to play here?
Is it time to apologize to Power, just like UPL?
Wait, I thought he was the anti-christ and the root cause of every issue this team has had.
Or was that UPL? Or Adams? Which scapegoat are we currently blaming??

He isn’t 1st in GA/60, xGA/60, or HDA/60 (he’s behind Dahlin and Sammy in pretty much every D metric). I don’t really think there’s any way to slice or filter the results to get what’s in this tweet.
Dont worry folks Jarmo already knows these numbers and is not listening to the ignorant fans calling for a trade of Power.
