For some reason, this doesn’t matter…

  1. Everyone saying drake maye for mvp has only seen the 2 bad games stafford had and the loss to seattle. Anyone who watched stafford all year knows he is mvp

  2. Fuck a mvp. Let us and Stafford assume Maye won it, play with a chip on his shoulder.

  3. For what it’s worth the media seems a lot more split or even leaning Stafford for mvp based off who I’ve seen.

The most common sentiment amongst them seems to be they don’t like the level of weight being given to end of year games.

Like if this game had happened early in the season in a random slot instead of prime time week 17 the needle probably barely moves.

At this point it is what it is. Hope Stafford still gets it but it’s not like Maye is undeserving. Would rather get the Lombardi if I had to choose one.

  4. Those stats are not accurate though. Staff threw 3 interceptions against the Seahawks alone.

  5. Why do you care so much??? It’s about winning the super bowl, not individual awards. The ONLY individual award you should worry about is if someone on your favorite team wins the Super Bowl MVP.

  6. The whole MVP thing is a hoax iyam. Its a QBOTY award. And stats only tell half a picture. Teams winning with negative passing yards…

Plus, idgaf. Im more concerned about the playoffs.

  7. Stafford should win. But these weird posts and tweets moving the goalposts to find stats that make either look better are dumb. Nobody was posting these stats until Stafford had the bad game.

  8. – 5 TDs/0 INTs against the division winner Jags
    – 7 TDs/0 INTs against the 12-4 49ers in two games
    – 5 TDs/0 INTs against the current one seed Seahawks in two games
    – Set an NFL record 28 consecutive TDS without throwing an interception

But Drake Maye should win the MVP because he got to shit on the Jets and Dolphins 4 times. Gimme a fucking break

  9. I get it I’m a bears fan , the patriots have had a super easy season. Maye is good , but I see major regression next year . The comparisons saying maye is way better than Williams drives me nuts . I think they are closer than the media portrays

  10. Pats had the easiest schedule by a mile. Drake is supremely talented, but schedule has to factor in. Stafford really Goff’d to end the fantasy season, though.

  11. I dont think most MVP voters are stupid enough to give it to Maye. It was created by a few media members.

  12. Ya play who ya play..

But also until 2 weeks ago staffords been out here playing laser tag with a football

  13. Guys we got to let the MVP go. No matter how much I love Stafford you can’t lose two primtetime games to end the season. That’s just the reality. If we still won the division there was a chance but it’s gone.

We are on to focusing on the playoffs. If we make a run and pats lose first round then people will know who was the true mvp.

  14. As a mvp voter please keep posting these stats graphics with different qualifiers. It’s how I’m deciding my vote

  15. OP username tracks. Gotta win your division or put up borderline record breaking stats. Stafford has neither.

  16. Maye feasted on a super soft schedule. We’ll see if he’s legit in the playoffs.

  17. You can’t be an MVP when you play poorly against bad teams as well. You guys are coping hard.

  18. The media just wants Drake Maye because he’s new. They love to build them up and then tear them down.

  19. Pats fan coming in peace.

Do you think if Stafford hadn’t had those two awful agents against the Panthers and Falcons, that the Rams would win those games? Do you blame Stafford for those losses? Do you think those performances cost you the number 1 seed/division?

If you answer yes to those questions, how can Stafford be the “Most Valuable Player”? This is a good faith question, and I genuinely just want to see y’all’s prospective.

Edit: also, in good faith, I won’t respond to anything commented in reply. I don’t want this to be a shouting match.
