The New York Yankees strike out again as another top free agent slips away — and this time, it’s a bad look. 😤⚾

In this episode of New York Minute Sports, I break down why the Yankees missing on Yamamoto is bigger than just one player. This is about philosophy, leadership, and a front office that’s starting to feel stuck in neutral while the rest of MLB speeds past them.

🔥 Topics Covered:
• Why the Astros keep winning while the Yankees stall
• The truth about Yamamoto and the contract drama
• Why the Yankees are falling behind the modern MLB
• The real problem with the “play it safe” approach
• What this means for the future of the franchise

  1. The Yankees management is a fraternity, not a baseball organization who wants to win. bring in the money and keep my friends employed. good job Hal

  2. this was awesome haha I love seeing people fired up and passionate about there team in the off season. Im a dodger fan and this is my favorite baseball show on YouTube

  3. Once again like I been saying the Yankees will use the 2026 season as a throw away year to get cheap Hal to the 2027 strike and a hard salary cap. With this lineup they're lucky if they finish 3rd.

  4. If the lockout happens and both the players and owners can't come to any agreement that will cancel the 2027 season, will it be enough for Hal Steinbrenner to sell the team?

  5. I wish the Yankees were embarrassed because that would at least mean they care. But that’s the problem. They don’t. Anyway, big fan of your channel. Thanks for the good shows.
