Nevermind the fact that the team did really well last year
Rickets is actually way worse, they make a shitload more money than Reinsdorf and keep saying they are trying to win. Reinsdorf has said what his goal is, it’s to be competitive enough to keep the fans engaged and fill the stadium. Rickets keeps saying their goal is to win when that’s not his goal, his goal now is suck every last dollar out of their investment and make as much money as possible
Ricketts is cheap, but at least the team has an understandable direction. Reinsdorf teams are cheap with an extra helping of nepotism and incompetence. I can barely watch the Bulls anymore. Too frustrating.
You can be unhappy with the direction of the team without being so wrong. We could absolutely do worse than the Ricketts. Reinsdorf is one of the worst owners in all of professional sports
