I'll start, Jose Siri. No idea of how or when I first heard of this guy. Might've been the "hey, Siri it's not your night" clip but I've been a fan since. He's not good but he has aura, the nonchalant bat flip, the cool homerun celebration… Siri's just cool imo and was my favorite Met last year. Unfortunately, it looks like his MLB playing days are probably over, as he's now 30 and played in less than 20 games and has hit below .200 the last two seasons. But I'll never forget his 2023 season where he hit 25 homeruns which actually lead to SDS giving him an A potential in MLB the Show 24 lol. So wishing nothing but the best to Jose Siri wherever he ends up playing in 2026. Who's yours?

  1. That’s wild, you may be the only person on earth for whom Siri was “your favorite Met last year”… he was beyond horrendous

  2. Chris Denorfia, I first had Padres season tickets in 2011 and he immediately became my guy. Physically had no business being on a big league ball field but he worked his rear off, always giving 110%. Was one of the few players I was proud to have on our squad back then.

  3. Sam Haggerty is a great contributor for mediocre teams, I love my little lefty mashing Italian utility guy

  4. I liked Siri when he played for us. He had elite speed and he seemed like he legitimately enjoyed playing baseball

  5. Don Kelly is an absolute legend among bad players. He even has his own subreddit.

For a lot of Detroit fans, Brandon Inge is also a good answer. Him getting a goose egg in the home run derby was pretty much his career summed up in one moment.

  6. Rougned Odor. He had some special moments when he played for the Orioles.

  7. Kris Bryant. He’s a genuinely good person, and it’s really unfair how injuries took him down. He deserved better.
