  3. As the proud son of former NFL/AFL championship winning QB Tobin Rote (look it up) I have always been a big fan of his former teams in the Packers, Lions and Chargers. But as soon as Brock Purdy showed up on the scene he captured my imagination and frankly my allegiance to the 49ers. He has already been through a lot of tough times at a young age but has come out on the other side of things with San Francisco fans recognition and respect. Championships are elusive but you will, no doubt, see him on the field competing for the crown for years to come. GO NINERS!

  11. I see McCaffrey morphing into a kind of Brian Westbrook type of player. Talking about being a very very good recieving back. He is really such a threat for defense.

  16. Great win Niners! Love that the next man up is working for us. But, I have to ask the question – What is the key to all of our injuries (this game, this year, and prior years)? Something is very very wrong. Is it our Strength & Conditioning Coach/Program? If I were John Lynch I would be looking to make a change there. Way too many injuries that have wrecked our previous seasons and threaten to wreck this one. We can't keep losing 1st stringers like Trent Williams & George Kittle. And to not have Bosa & Warner is showing up huge in our defensive game. One season of major injuries can be explained away, but 3 in a row. Come on!

  17. I'm calling it right now. The niners will lose to the bears in the playoffs. I'd rather lose this game than in the playoffs. This is the Bear's year. We'll see you 49ers

  28. Funny how I had a feeling NFL was making these 3 deciding games possible for Week 18. Even called it for Number 1 seed between 49ers and Seahawks about a month ago. If you look at the week 18 schedule it made sense.

  29. Purdy has been ballin his a$$ off like Shanahan said but the signing of Mac Jones to get a real QB2, getting rid of Jake Moody and signing Eddy Dinero were significant moves that got Niners to this position as well. You have a good back up QB and dependable kicker helped.

  30. Credit to the OL. Colton Mckivitz is playing like a Pro Bowler, what a difference with 2023 when he was a complete liability. Spencer Burford is also looking more comfortable playing the left side. Brendel playing the best football of his career. And Puni is just getting started. Pleasants was a pleasant surprise, I'm used to watch Jaylon Moore or other bums get smoked when Trent goes down. By no means Pleasants was excellent as the sack he allowed almost got Brock killed, but he did enough for this offense to score 42 points.

  36. The idea that if the Niners get to the Super Bowl and Pat Mahomes won’t be the opponent is a great opportunity. Still gotta get there, but knowing the quarterback who beat us twice in the Super Bowl is kind of like when the Rams won. Played at home in the Super Bowl and no Pat Mahomes.
