[Amick] The Mavericks do have interest in Kuminga, his salary ($22.5m) comes well short of Davis ($54m). It would thus require the inclusion of another big contract — i.e., Green ($25.8m)… it should be noted that the Mavericks called Golden State about the Davis trade — and not the other way around.

  1. They have interest in JK — as a part of an AD deal. Their main priority is moving Davis. If we’re not interested, they’re not either.

  2. Take this deal and run. We might go nowhere & be stuck in purgatory if we trade for ad, but if we don’t we know we will 100% be going nowhere just like the last few years

  3. Personally I would rather take this AD deal and at least have a chance at contending if he somehow stays healthy

  4. Such a no brainer deal but they will NEVER trade Draymond, which guarantees this era is over.

  5. >it should be noted that the Mavericks called Golden State about the Davis trade

Well of course, they are trying to offload their incredibly injury prone player on a massive contract.. warriors aren’t this stupid, I dont think many GMs are as dumb as Nico Harrison

    Mavs are desperate

  6. For the naysayers, what exactly is so obviously wrong with this. They’re not playing JK and there could be an argument that Green is not contributing enough to be worth the hassle. I can understand not being on favor but it’s not like the robbery that landed AD there in the first place.

I also get the idea that you could get more for JK but they need him and won’t play him speaks volumes to me.

  7. No thanks. Don’t need an injury prone center. If he was younger, it would be worth a shot.

  8. We ain’t giving up Dray for someone with the injury history of Davis. Also Steph ain’t saying yes to giving up Dray either.

  9. I don’t trust ADs health.

I would be more than willing to ship Draymond in a trade but just not for Davis.

  10. We should not be entertaining ANY Davis talk. He doesn’t want to play center as is even more injury prone

  11. Green and Butler sharing the court hasn’t been all that great. Id risk it because it’s not getting done with the current core for sure.

  12. IDK about all the Anthony “Street Clothes” Davis talk. Maybe if the Mav’s did PJ Washington for Kuminga? Not sure how salaries match up but I’m sure it’s close.

  13. I like to think that we can keep AD remotely healthy is we managed to do it with Otto back in 2022. Wishful thinking

  14. For the people saying no, and the warriors decide to take 0 high risk high reward trades and end middle pack of the pack in the league, I hope you don’t complain about wasting Steph’s last years.

  15. Lol, it could not be more obvious that the source is someone within the Warriors. “Make sure Draymond knows we didn’t initiate this discussion!”

  16. The Warriors are surviving without playing Kuminga. They have also managed without Draymond for periods of time.If they were committed to playing GS TJD Horford on a regular basis than AD could be a huge opportunity when healthy. He likes to play the 4 and that would work well with our centres – gives us much needed height and scoring punch.

It all depends on what we have to give and can get to balance the trade (bodies, dollars and picks). Roll the dice.

  17. What this really says is that the Luca trade is the worst trade in the history of professional sports. It hasn’t even been a year yet!

  18. Y’all want us to go all in for Steph, then turn your noses up and any trade options being rumored.

Anything is an upgrade at this point cause this roster aint gonna go on a run. YES AD is a health risk, but if he can string together a playoff run a Steph/Jimmy/AD lineup could be deadly.

At this point try anything and see what happens.

  19. Butler has made Green a lot more redundant. I would say no if Green isn’t declining or if GSW didn’t have Jimmy. But with both the case I say go for it and gamble on the health. We know what he can do as recent as the Olympics. Steph-Jimmy-AD is a great playoffs core

  20. Getting AD is having the same risk as JK at DNP status and Draymond clowning around or getting ejected messing up the flow of the team.

  21. I love dray and I’m fine with this. It’s gonna be either dray or butler in any trade

  22. The same people who wanted Al and are now complaining want AD. I’m not surprised.

  23. Do the deal. Even if it fails you can get a first or two back for Davis in two years. It’s lowkey a rental

Kuminga and dray are doing nothing for us now

  24. Hard no. Healthy AD is a top 3 player in the league… but he’s literally never healthy anymore.

  25. If we can keep Jimmy, so likely Dray and JK, I say do it. JK doesn’t want to be here and Dray’s on the backend decline
Every run depends on luck and health to some extent. Ride it with Steph, JB and AD and roll the dice

  26. Please do it! Steph just need a real help and a real shot at a 5th. Current roster not going to cut it. even a 50% healthy AD is better than 0% current roster.

  27. if the warriors were smart they would do this trade kuminga doesnt play and draymond is a bum AD even in spirts could provide them with a good center that’s better then draymond

  28. Same ones who are against AD are the ones who complained about the Jimmy Butler trade the day it happened. They got shut up real quick. AD might be our one and only chance to get Steph his last ring and you got to take that chance unless you want to pack it up and rebuild. MPJ makes this team better but still not enough to beat OKC and San Antonio. Swing for the fences.

  29. He was a BIG difference in us LOSING in the 2nd round of the playoffs a couple of years badk.

  30. Maybe warriors black magic can work again. AD when healthy is a beast. He moves you to a contender. But high risk. Really high!

I would think this only makes sense in a 3 team trade.

    Warriors: MPJ

Nets: Moses, buddy and warrior 2 picks and Dallas salary filter

    Dallas: JK

I would rather go for MPJ if avaliable. Draymond is the guy moving
