If the hawks want to move on from Trae to make Jalen the guy then thats probably just good process.
But blaming Trae for our shortcomings is lazy and if they think its all just Trae’s fault then I worry for the future of the Jalen Johnson era because they clearly did not put enough or the right talent around Trae.
I hope they dont scapegoat Trae and look themselves in the mirror and do better for Jalen.

Why do people pretend there was a Wemby or Flagg available but the Hawks just failed to pick him when they had the #1? The best player (Sarr) refused to work out for us so we chose the consensus #2. It is the worst draft in NBA history. The best player in that draft was probably Stephon Castle, but we would never have taken him bc of Trae.

Well if Atlanta is completely tone deaf then why is nearly the entire league not interested in trading for Trae? Even other fan bases are largely against trading for him. He’s kind of available and seems like only a small puff of smoke from teams slightly considering making a move for Trae.
