I just wanna give flowers of appreciation to Paul George for letting this happen: Coming to terms that Edgecombe is him, and being that de-facto 4th option that Tobi could never. It takes a lot of pride to be able to swallow and say “Yeah, I’m not that guy anymore and even if I am that’s not how we’re gonna win games.”
There’s still the occasional PG ISO, but I can live with it as long as most of his shots are standing in the corner and shooting the 3. Is it overpaid? Vastly, but that’s a problem for the offseason.(And hey, if we win it all you feel differently about it. Every title contender(save OKC) has always had that one guy on a contract disportionate to his actual abilities.
Same for Joel to a lesser extent, 15-16 shots a game. If it’s not there, keep it moving and groving because this backcourt is bonafide.
