Cubs have a bad habit of paying guys a premium for defense without offensive production. You can save all the runs but want but can't win without scoring. Hoerner hasn't figured out a power launch angle yet and probably won't.

    They aren't smarter than other clubs. When you spend double the teams in your division, and they are better than you, then you're not smarter.

    Ricketts extended Hoyer because he doesn't challenge him, that is why Epstein left.

16. Dodgers pitches are top, will be too hard to beat them, LA has 2-3 #1 / 2-3 #2 / 3-4 #3 and #4 or 5 could be #3. Injury will not affect them like other teams who have a #1 #2 #3 #4.
