1. MLB really needs an offseason deadline. Every year it's the same nonsense. We should be gearing up for the new season (literally, buying gear) but still don't even know the roster.

6. Teams need to dig deep into minors so yeah it's a good signing. That other guy with 11 was my favorite player. Hopefully Mayer lives up to the hype around him. Okamoto is going somewhere in the next couple of days….. Thank you Corbin.

7. Going down a rabbit hole of 2025 pitching highlights, and Gray is nasty. Pitching may have been outstanding last year, but 2026 might be next level, especially looking at the trio of Slaten, Whitlock, and Chapman. I think Contreras will pop off in ‘26 and he comes with elite defense. Whoever they find for the infield should be a defense first priority.

9. It's fine that Breslow is making sure that the RedSox have enough depth on the team, but that will not help you to improve the team from last year. It would be nice if they put just as much effort into getting Major League talent that fans can get behind. The few trades they made combined with the pieces that they have lost won't even be a wash at this point. I would love to have one of the media ask him specifically about that. I mean another example is Imai just signed with Houston for 21 Million a year and can be your #2 or #3 pending on how he translates to US ball, he is also only 27. All the things Breslow says he is looking for and instead they get Sonny Gray who is for 1 year and 21 plus million and in his Mid 30's. He is maybe a 3 or even 4 pitcher at this point with some injury issues in his past. It will be very interesting to see where Okamoto ends up going as his window closes on Sunday. Can't wait for Monday to see that video from you.

10. Hopefully now that we are in January moves will pick up. I'd like the Bregman issue resolved soon one way or the other. Minor league deals are interesting he'll likely do well in Worcester 🤞⚾

12. Frazier seems like a potential 4th outfielder. I do expect they'll trade an outfielder soon.

17. Baseball has a PR problem as it relates to FA. They should do what NFL does; legal tampering period (that phrase cracks me up) then a flurry of activity where guys sign in a very short order. Or just make it a 30 day window for signing. Something different, anything but stretching this time out till who knows when. This is ridiculous
