  12. They need to fix the offensive line issues. I dont know if it is the guards or the tackles but sometimes they average hundreds of penalty yards that kill drives. The fact these guys could run at all with the amount of false starts and holding penalties is incredible.

  16. Im glad you had this conversation at this point. Javonte is definitely worth $7 probably more, and Malik has shown something that Blue hasnt, he hits the hole hard and is willing to take the hits. Maybe it took this journey for Malik to get here but he has demonstrated his value. I'd like to see both get re-signed, I think they only get better with another year in this scheme. As I said before I want to see Mafa, see what he can do, can he be Javontes backup going forward. Blue Im just not seeing him with any value at this point.

  19. All of this mess involving Malik Davis goes back to not having an NFL ready front office. As long as the Jones family continues to be the front office these things will happen. Ive been a fan for over 50 years and have never been as disappointed as i have these last 25-30 years. We will never win a Super Bowl with the way this team is being run.

  21. JW's yards after contact and contact balance 100% proves his offensive line was not THE ONLY reason for his success. Sometimes it is tough to tell if an RB is more about his O-line than his own merit. Davis is perfect change-up back bc with a "good hole he makes more out of with his speed, but he is immediately "down upon contact" unlike JW who never fails to get extra 2-3 yards upon contact". Nice mix of backs. Now we find a #3 RB with future #1 upside for the future as JW last few years at high level wind down.

  22. 3.9 yds after contact for Williams is fantastic. I would take that for a running back any day. Malik Davis is total heart and guts. Lots of guys would have given up, gotten bitter, made excuses. He kept his head, kept himself in shape and produced when he got his shot. He deserves a roster spot to show what he can do in a full season.
