  1. Ideally Bo comes back to Jays and Tucker goes to Mets and Bregman signs with Diamondbacks and Bellinger to Giants, but most likely Tucker goes to Dodgers, Bregman to RedSox, Bellinger to Yankees

  2. Bo would be the perfect fit for the Yankees because he's Derek Jeter lite…guy who hits a lot, inside out swing, shortstop, not a great fielder. They'd also be able to get out from under Anthony Volpe, who the fans in NY hate right now. There's some logic to that rumour.

This is starting to resemble the 1987 collusion period a bit. FAs left twisting in the wind because owners are "tightening their belts".

  3. At this point, anyone still on the market is likely using other MLB teams as leverage or acting as a proxy for the MLBPA. Either way, if the Jays can’t land a free agent willing to commit long-term within the next couple of weeks, they need to pivot immediately and improve the roster via trades. Waiting any longer at that point would be a mistake imo because let's be real, the players remaining aren't hall of fame caliber players and aren't worth the extra money they appear to be holding out for.

  4. Jay's can afford 2 of 3. They potentially 103.5 mil coming off the books next year, if Berrios opts out, and Varsho and Lauer go to free agency. And Tucker's numbers were down last year because he played through a hairline fracture in his right hand. He can potentially be a 30/30 man batting .280.

  5. I would rather Bellinger and Bregman. This way you keep Barger in right field and you put Clement at second. This way you improve offensively and defensively for the price that you would’ve paid just for Tucker. the way things always end up going and the history or the Jays is gonna end up getting none of them or they’ll just get Bo back which doesn’t change the team whatsoever. So pretty much she just running a back with two newer pictures in my opinion aren’t as good as what you already let go

  6. This is the Atkins we all know! Let’s not do anything with the guy who wants to play here, chase a free agent who wants lots of money and has no interest in playing in Toronto. Glad to feel reassured that the Atkins continues his ways! Only reason he signed cease is because cease asked his agent to make a phone call

  7. Sure, Bo says he wants to play here but does he really ? All pro athletes say the same thing to create bidding wars for their services. Get serious, kiddies, money will determine where he signs

  8. It is lining up perfect…………………………………………………..for nothing to happen but I will make something up that "someone" said, please give me a click!

  9. STAY AWAY FROM Bo Yankees. Go resign your mediocre players and the Jays will kick your ass in October AGAIN!!. There's a 1% chance he goes to the NYY (to betray Vladdy, his teammates and all JAYS fans!)

  10. Signing Okamoto is unlikely to limit them from landing a big fish.
Their pursuits of Tucker and longtime Blue Jay Bo Bichette are being viewed as unique opportunities, according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, allowing them to stretch beyond their current budget.

Is it possible the Jays could sign all 3 players? – Tucker, Bo, Okamoto
