I have zero expectations and it doesn’t matter either way but I am definitely rooting for him to do well, would be such a fun story.
(Also we need a backup for next year so may as well start tryouts now)
Against that Minnesota defense? Without our already terrible offensive line at full strength? Without Jacobs, Watson, or Reed? Yeah I’m expecting a lot of pressure, a lot of bad plays, and some bullshit.
But if he goes crazy against that defense… I won’t be as upset about losing Malik Willis (though if Matthew Golden plays, he did play with Tune at Houston, so, maybe a Matthew Golden Breakout in the Sicko Bowl?)
