Best Winter Classic Drone Shot Ever? Probably! See the ice before the game 🚁❄️🏒
For the first time in five years, this Winter Classic drone film was captured in a true one-take — no stitch points, no hidden cuts @jaybyrdfilms
Start outside in sunny Miami, Florida, then follow the drone as it glides seamlessly into loanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins, where a full NHL rink awaits for the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic.
The journey features stick-handling specialist Swaggy P, cameos from Billy the Marlin and Viktor E. Ratt, plus appearances by the Florida Panthers, Panthers legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Roberto Luongo, former Marlin Jeff Conine, and Panthers TV rinkside reporter Katie Engleson.
Tonight, the Panthers face the New York Rangers in the southernmost regular-season game in NHL history — and the first NHL outdoor game ever played in Florida.
Despite Miami’s reputation for heat, ice-level temps checked in at 58°F (14°C) during roof-open testing, setting the stage for a primetime showdown led by outdoor-game veterans Brad Marchand and Artemi Panarin.
From palm trees to puck drop — this is hockey history, Miami style. 🌴❄️

Nice shot but winter classic is outdoors in the elements this is sad , don't ever do this again , put it at the big house where u of m plays football, you'll draw 110,000+ set records on crowd on income etc …….
This is going to be fun to watch!
The best part of all of this is all the salty elitist gate keeping NHL fans getting upset, it’s just making it better guys 🤣
Having the winter classic in Florida is dumb to begin with
How exactly is it the Winter "Classic" is hockey was not "classically" played in Florida?
I just don't get the hype, especially as someone in the stands for a baseball field. I went to the Blackhawks at Wrigley Field. The sight lines were abysmal. Spent hundreds and only saw the game from the shoulders up when it was near our end. Spent most of the game squinting at the video board in the outfield.
Awesome game awesome city ((((( Bravo ))))))
*"Indoor Summer Classic"
So cool. Awesome footage.
Sorry that is not a “winter classic”.
well done NHL, Well Done
Ts is 🔥 🔥🔥
Pretty cool
Spectacular nhl. Well done GB.
lol 😂 It’s a great idea for the fans who like and only know hockey in the south.
How is anyone supposed to see anything? Every single seat is miles away and barely over the walls. Might look cool on TV but this gunna be a major bomb for irl spectators.
Why isn’t Marchand suspended for his intentional and dirty hit to the head from a couple days ago?
In a climate where ice is non-existent.
Nice!
One take? Sure. Lol
Winter classic in Miami, inside an arena. Game should be played outdoors, in the snow. So dumb
Beautiful intro rly. Shame ppl all over the world don't follow Hockey – A Finnish Dude
Winter Classics should always be outside.
Swaggy P!
Why not have an AMERICAN singer that we can understand
Tropical Classic… 🙂
Panthers = Crockett and Tubbs
Rangers = Say hello to my little friend!!
