Don’t worry, cause Tucker is not getting the years at the price that he wants so he he’s gonna end up taking a short term deal with the Dodgers mark my words and then they will also sign Bo and once again the Jays will be sitting there with their with nothing to show once again. 12. According to a Sportsnet article, Jays are interested in signing Okamoto as a LF, “and unlikely to limit them from landing a big fish.
    Their pursuits of Tucker and Bo are being viewed as unique opportunities,”
    according to Sportsnet's Shi Davidi, allowing them to stretch beyond their current budget.
    Is it possible the Jays could sign all 3 players – Tucker, Bo, Okamoto?

15. Tucker and Bichette would please me the most, as Tucker is another lefty batter. Having said that, Okamoto and Bichette would still work: Barger could remain in RF (100 games), 10 games in LF, and maybe 30 games at 3B. Okamoto could play 100 games at 3B, 15 in LF, and 20 at 1B. We'll have an answer on Okamoto by the end of the weekend.

16. So If the Jays get Okamoto one would HAVE to assume that it would be an upgrade over Davis Schneider and he would be gone.
    I dont mind okamoto however I thought i heard something about his having a hard time with gas , Like 95MPH+ because in Japan theres not alot of gas. SO the Jays are ultimately 2-3 pieces away from me being confident enough to say ok they could go back to the world series. to me theyre 2 Bats. 2 of Bo,Okamoto,Tucker, Bellinger,Bregman,marte two of those guys. PLUS a high leverage Reliever/closer Im not a huge fan of Hoffman. Hes far too inconsistent for a World series contender. If the Jays can get those 3 pieces id have to say theyre favrites.

27. You have to go after Kyle Tucker because he's a difference-maker like Vlad Jr. You can't expect George Springer to have another MVP caliber year at 36 years of age. That's why you have to prioritize Kyle and then Bo. Okamoto is a huge unknown.

31. Okamoto is that power bat the Blue Jays need. From about 2018 to 2024 he hit 30 homeruns a year in that Japanese League with a shorter game schedule. Tucker would never do that. A CONSISTENT power bat like his is what the Jays need. He missed a lot of games last year because of injury. He's THE MAN the Jays are looking for!
