  1. Im not worried about Ben. In all honesty whenever he’s running routes they look polished and he has good hands. The way they call the offense right now just isn’t ideal for him to he a pass catcher right now but he gets a lot of time in to run and pass block and run those flats and curls if the qb needs it. He will be fine.

  2. There’s an instant draft analysis video out there (I think it was CBS?) where someone gave the pick an A+++. Part of it was the supposed versatility. I just wonder what they see in practice that has prevented him from being used.

  3. Just go be a fucking Eagles fan and stop bothering everyone here.

Then you can get your Cooper Dejean jersey and never have to think about Ben Sinnot ever again.

Wait, I know you. You’re that guy who wanted Josh Harris to be more like Dan Snyder yesterday!

  4. Not sure I would use the word “concerned” to describe Harris lol

Seemed more curious as to their thinking / process

  5. Might be a hot take, but I think it was a mistake to re-sign Ertz. Sinnott wasn’t ready last season, but he’s shown himself to be ready this season. Been a dominating run blocker since the season start. Every time they’ve increased his workload, he’s stepped up. Ertz went down and he’s finally getting passing routes, and he’s looked better every game. The last few games have shown he should have been more involved in the passing game all season – especially when we were down to just Deebo at receiver (or basically nobody that first game against the Cowboys).

  6. “I like the finishing and stuff to go” – Dan Quinn

Jury’s still out on Sinnott. Hearing the same coach speak about “spaces,” “spots,” and stuff “to go” we get in front of the podium from Quinn and behind the scenes is annoying

  7. Ben will be fine. He was great last game honestly. My big wish this offseason is hopefully a completely different offensive scheme. More play action and rollouts instead of a heavy air raid offense. Let JD throw on the run more.

  8. Sinnott is ready, he’s not Ertz yet but he’s ready to play. Aside from Zach’s injury, this scenario has worked out fine. Not addressing the pass rush has not worked well at all, and for the life of me I don’t understand what they were thinking.

  9. Well, Ertz is probably done now, so it’s good we have a TE with 2 years of experience to back up Bates.

  10. Next year we will find out if Ben is legit or not, for most tight ends it takes 3 years in the league to see real rewards. He’s been playing behind a HOF player in Ertz. I didnt love the pick when we made it cause I felt it was to high to pay for a backup TE.

  11. For the sake of honesty, they probably didn’t think Ertz had as much left in the tank as he did.

He looked good on the field. Looks like he’s improved.

  12. Even if all these guys pan out can we get someone who shows out their rookie year?

  13. Well let’s look at it this way too. We now either have to move on and go get a Kyle Pitts or Isaiah Likely or Ben gets to play. He will be 24 next year hes still a BABY. We have to stop constantly writing players off before they have proven to not be a player. This year Ben put together a TON of tape blocking and finally started getting some looks in the passing game. If Kliff returns it’s year 3 in the same system for everyone let’s let this play out.

  14. Yeah, how about we not validate and encourage owners meddling in GM affairs.

It was honestly abnormal for Ertz to be as healthy as he was last season. It’d be ridiculous to assume that a 34 year old TE would be able to be as healthy as he was last season with the workload he held. Not drafting a backup for him would’ve been genuine malpractice that this fanbase would’ve been endlessly complaining about had he gone down.

I swear there is no fathomable situation where this fanbase wouldn’t be able to find something to complain about. It could be hot, this fanbase would complain. It could be cold, this fanbase would complain. It could be perfect, this fanbase would
complain. Yall complained for years about owner interference in the team, now I get to see people complaining that our GM ***isn’t*** listening to the owner enough?! What the fuck is wrong with you people 😭

  15. Part of it also is on the coaches last game of the season and they’re still not trying to start the younger players or see what they have in others Sinnott would be a monster in a team that heavily uses TEs.

  16. Love ertz but he’s old and looked slower this season. Also the injury he got with his age I think he hangs his cleats up. It’s Ben’s time now.

I hope we bring Ertz back as a coach or assistant, continue Ben’s development.

  17. Ertz was never the long term plan. Sinnott was a promising prospect coming out of college and Bates is not TE1. Ben has pretty much shined every time he’s been involved in a play – I think he’ll be just fine heading into year 3.

  18. My takeaway from this is that Quinn was the LAST GUY they consulted…our head coach?

  19. That’s why professionals are in charge and not owners because now you have developed him for 2 years (while still playing but not being involved in passing game) and could be ready in year 3

  20. Ertz was one hell of a mentor and I appreciate it, but considering his age I think he’s done. Thank you Ertz for coaching up Sinnott – I think he’s poised for a breakout season.I’ve already been planning out my fantasy to draft Sinnott, so he has to do great now .. lol

  21. Sinnot could be getting left off the field for offensive line experience that part of their game takes a long time in the nfl to develop.
