  1. For added context:

Lakers coach JJ Redick said Dalton Knecht will “get a look” both tonight in the Grizzlies and “in the foreseeable future” in hopes to help the team’s 3-point shooting.

JJ Redick said that Dalton Knecht needs “to play hard” and will be evaluated more with his effort than whether he makes or misses shots.

  2. I hope Knecht 4 balls out tonight and earns more minutes. He does need to get his mental in the game. He has the talent; just needs the mindset.

  3. He bricks 2 or 3 shots, gets back to the garbage time lineup, drops 15 in garbage time, gets some playtime and cycle repeats.

  4. 1. Dalton gets his shot
    2. More minutes more trade value
    3. Rob told JJ to do this lol

  5. Man I hope JJ telling Dalton this gives him a spark and ups his confidence a bit. We need him to be productive so hopefully he can show out against the grizzlies.

  6. probably why the team vibes are so off. JJ doesn’t have the balls to say this about Luka who plays blatantly no effort defense

  7. Get Bufkin a two-way, play as many young guys as possible.

Need youth and athleticism in the rotation/lineup.

  8. They need to try all sort of rotations, but strange they do it now. When Lebron was out, Knecht got zero minutes.  And the defense has looked horrible lately, and now you see what Knecht has. Strange timing to me

  9. JJ saw he scores 10 pts in trash minutes and now he’s going to give him some looks this dude just doesn’t get it.

  10. I like the intentionality behind giving Dalton minutes. we are seeing a pattern in terms of how. JJ reintroduce non-rotational players into the lineup. He lets the player know that they’re gonna have a role going forward in order to not make it a situation where it’s not make or break for them.

He saw it with Vando, Smith, and now Dalton

  11. He said the same thing for Nick now Dalton, can’t wait till it’s bronny turn😁😁😁

  12. It’s a gap year , play the young fellas and see if they can get a rythym and confidence also hopefully improve their value
