“Hell No”: Miami Heat Have a Straightforward Response To Including Bam Adebayo in Trade Packages

  1. >“Other teams I know have for sure asked about Bam and been told, ‘Hell no,’” Lowe [said](https://x.com/HeatCulture13/status/2007086241355874778). “And the wild card that you also have to consider is as they sniff around at Giannis and other star players, all of those star players are gonna want to play with Bam.”

This the context in the article cherry picked out of the part where Zach lowe is speculating that that answer might have changed. Lowe does change his hot take at the end and say trading bam is unlikely but its not an official response or representative of what the heat are feeling at this moment. This headline and article is garbage.

  2. Don’t see the point of a star player coming here and not keeping Bam, he’s literally our best player lol

  3. At peak this current team is a 2nd round exit depending on the matchups. I love Bam but he should be on the table, same with everyone else.noy under age of 25

  4. Eat

    Sleep

Star players don’t want to come here if we get rid of Bam

Our package without Bam is not enough for a star

    Repeat

  5. Sometimes the best trade is no trade, as long as Riley has been here Heat don’t necessarily make the desperation trade.

Trading Bam and a bunch of our role players wouldn’t make us better

  6. Not sure this whole thing is relevant its a lot of speculation here but yeah the Heat does seem to have a distorted reality of what the best player is and what they can do for us. Bam is a crazy good third option on a winning team, he’s past his peak but it’s also true that he may be the one reason some players would want to play in the Heat nowadays. A lot of noise for not a lot of movement we will not do anything this year, but if we were to move from someone Kalel and Herro would make sense. I’d hate it but those are our 2 best talent and age wise assets.

  7. This is poorly aggregated bs. Listen to the pod, it’s just Lowe saying what the response has been in the past, meaning during the Jimmy build. And in those years Bam WAS the second best player on a team that made 2 finals and 3 conference finals in four years.

  8. As it should be. One day, #13 will be in the rafters and it wouldn’t be Dan Marino anymore.

  9. I hear how great Bam is. But he needs a number 1. Well Norman Powell looks pretty damn good. So did Jimmy. When Jimmy was here they said Jimmy needed a number 1. Does anyone think Norman Powell can be your number 1? So if they need a number 1, that would make them 2s so now Bam is a max third. If anyone thinks you can pay your third best player 35% of the cap you’re crazy. He’s not a franchise player. He’s a max player on a bad team. Not a team trying to win championships.

  10. Man you people are sad. Thank god the bam sucks crowd have nothing to do with running this team..it’d be the Miami wizards or pelicans if you were all in charge

  11. The problem is the Arisons are never going to rebuild. The Heat are just going to keep pushing that same boulder up the hill hoping that another in-their-prime Jimmy Butler type happens to just land in their laps again.

  12. Bam is a floor raising defensive maestro. The contracts might not feel like its too much but he is essentially Draymond Green but beyyrt offensively anis more athletic. That’s a championship player. The only difference is he doesn’t have his Curry or Durant level player beside him.

Without Bam or defense plummets. The only person I’d be willing to give up for Bam is Giannis. If you trade Bam for a guard/wing are interior defense and scenes overall will suffer. Do not underrate a defensive anchor like him.

  13. I mean if Bam ain’t shit why do team want him in the package? That tell you his value

  14. at this point Arison should just include lifetime free cruise trips in the trade packages
