  7. Well Bregman's market isn't where Boras thought it would be, so we might be able to sign him to what the Sox are comfortable with….but then again….I think they are still in the market for a trade….whichever breaks 1st……

  8. I'd very much like Bregman in a Redsox uni But I get a Lil frustrated they didn't offer Alonso this type of deal and land him. Im moving on cause that's reality but shows Sox didn't want Pete and Do want Bregman. I wanted both lol. Bregman makes Redsox a better team and if he can stay healthy much better team so sign SOMEONE and Bregman is that someone.

  14. I don’t believe that Marino Pepen report either. The Red Sox “aggressive offer” would be more like $92 million over four years with team options after each year.

  15. I get an email daily called Heavy and it report Sox content and they reported a guy named Marino Pepe’s a “insider” (never heard of him) Sox offered Bergman 160 mil 32 AAV x 5 years. I would say if this offer is accurate, big if, and he turns it down then the Sox should walk 5 x 32 is absolutely fair market value for Bregman

  21. Blue Jays signed Okamoto, I think this might put them out of the Bregman push. If Diamondbacks don't move Marte I don't think they have the money for Bregman. Red Sox might be the best landing spot for him now and the only team with a reason to really push

  24. As predicted the Arizona reporter Bickley stated Bregman is all but signed to Diamondbacks- Arizona is unable to to trade Marte- they’re not signing anyone- doubtful Blue Jays want Bregman- this is a slow motion transaction.

  25. AND we just got news that Kazuma Okomoto signed with Toronto meaning it is very likely we resign Bregman. As long as the d backs don’t ruin everything…

  26. Don’t need to be aggressive on Bregman. BE AGGRESSIVE FOR BICHETTE!!! He’s younger, better, and can also play 2nd base. Story at ss, Meyer at 3rd. Contreras at 1st and Romy, cambell, Hamilton, and Casas platoon and that’s the infield

  28. If it wouldn’t come to pitch forks and torches for the Sox fan base I think they would put Marcelo at 3rd and call it a day. I feel like they don’t want to sign Bregman I feel like they feel obligated to. This organization after the 2018 season completely lost its urgency to win. We now will have to be patient with this new philosophy of doing it with youth, we will see.

  30. I don’t think Bregman is some bad player I think he’s great. But those Astros teams were loaded his number are good, but not top 10. Look at the drop off on a player like Mike Trout and that could very well happen once he’s set for life. (He’s already set for life) If you watch highlights of Marte and Bregman, Marte is superior on the field and at the plate.

  31. Are Jed Hoyer and the Cubs still seriously interested and in the free agency hunt for Bregman these days ??? … If not, Boras doesn't appear to have that much negotiating leverage especially now that Okamoto has signed today with Toronto along with Marte not being traded away from Arizona ….

  32. Its weird, but my first thoughts at hearing the Olney report was it was a response by the Sox and not more manipulation by Boras. I think the Toronto/Arizona rumors were started by the Boras camp. But I thought the Olney report was more of a response by the Sox front office to help wage the media war so that fans aren't up in arms (more so than they usually are). If Bregman signed with Arizona, the Sox could easily go "Didn't you hear the Olney report? We had the most aggressive offer, we tried to get him back, not our fault". But maybe I'm being too pessimistic. Hopefully it's Boras just stirring the pot.

  33. I hope we sign Bregman. If we lose out and it comes out that we cheaped out, I’m going to be disappointed. For all sides when is enough money enough? The Red Sox turn a profit. Bregman gets paid. Stop the insanity of nickel and dimming
