He’s the game changer we were told he was gonna be. It’s very nice
Immediate impact, it’s such a fun time to be a Wild fan
It looks like more of the hockey world is realizing just what a game breaker Hughes is! Canucks fans have been saying it for years.
Enjoy him!
Miss that dude. You guys are going to be happy with how insanely good he is. Hope he crushes the playoffs.
I’m trying to tell myself not to get worked up over an extension. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, I’m gonna enjoy the ride until it stops.
Hughes is the real deal! It’s amazing how much better the Wild are having him on the roster. His game is elite and so fun to watch!
The funny thing is he still hasn’t hit his stride. There’s so much he isn’t doing yet that he did every game with the Canucks. Wild is more of a team game and he doesn’t get the puck by default every moment. And he often would do crazy blueline dashes that always worked even in tight situations. I think he’s still feeling things out and being a team guy first. But when he gets fully comfortable it’s going to be fun to watch.
That’s wild.
You could tell how much better the defense has been last night. Every guy was playing their optimal role and it showed.
Hes good
He’ll be the consensus #1 D over Makar now that he has a competent team around him.
Canucks fan here- enjoy him! He is absolutely incredible to watch. Glad to see him on a team where he is so adored by the fans and players
It’s crazy to think he might break Suter’s season records (50+ points) even starting 30 games in…
And that there’s a topic that discussed THIS VERY THING below this topic.
Go me.
Heard that during the Ducks game but thought I misheard it. Absolutely unreal stat!
Quinn fuckin HUGHES baby
This is the biggest move in franchise history, IMO. There’s going to be a BQ and AQ.
Does anyone know what our GFA and GAA has been since Hughes joined?
Anybody still want to undo the trade?
And he doesn’t even look like himself yet. I’m really glad that he went to the Wild instead of another team. I really hope they can win the cup with him.
