qb contract extensions will handicap the teamâs salary cap (5 year threshold is telling), likely forcing a reliance on underpaid overachievers
– draft picks
– injury-prone players that want to do a prove-it deal
– ringchasers who already did the 2nd contract
ringchasers not joining or giving discounts to qb-coach duos that havent sealed the deal yet
