KEEP DAVID MONTGOMERY!!! IM GOING TO KICK SOMEONE'S ASS IF THEY LET HIM GO!
Worst analyst ever
They trade DM there done
You can't spoil anything if you don't have the players
Noooo πππ = Get a DE and a Center first!
Why not. Resign Davenport. Why not? Was Holmes a total buffoon last year? Noooo. Heβs a genius. Sign him up again. ππππ. Holmes failed. He was indeed a buffoon
Corey talking is like me talking. No inside info whatsoever
Bro really maxed out his credit card on wall decor from @home π
Davenport sucks
ITS ALL OVER
There is no backup for David Montgomery. We're a injured Gibbs shit show away if we get rid of Monte who is, what, 13th highest paid on the team? π₯΄ Decker is around only if we don't draft a left tackle. Manu might be ready in a half a season, but he might not be either. Amik Robertson… he's gone only if we find a legit replacement. Reader, same thing, he's a 50/50 depending on whether we can find someone better off season. Anzalone, I think we need him but it depends on his health. Any talk about "Jack Campbell's defense", Anzalone played beside Campbell most of the year even on 4-2-5 formations. Anzalone's bread and butter is RB TE coverage. That's hard to replace, I think we need him but again, it's about Anzalone's health. AQM… we would be foolish to not resign him, but he's on a 1 year so anything can happen.
Lopez, same argument for seeing AQM gone could be applied to Lopez especially if they don't bring back Reader. While we're on the subject of 1 year contracts, Maddox, Bates & Rock Ya Sin need to be resigned. There will be outside pressure to poach these 5 players. Once again, we would be foolish to not resign Lopez, but there are several others on the list we need to try to keep.
Reeder at corner, his contract is too unfavorable for the Lions to let him go next year. We've got him 1 more year because of the way his contract is drawn up. Lions OC, I'll give it a couple more weeks to see who's available from NFL teams but a college replacement is a big gamble… we need to draft someone within the NFL. DC… it's mixed…. we talk about bringing in DC's with different systems like Flores but forget that DC's will design their offense/defense around their player personnel's strengths and weaknesses.
GM's will draft and sign players that best suit both the team and coaching. To bring someone in like Flores… we are looking at a 2 year rebuild minimum to get those players in. Is it worth it? I can't say it isn't and it's entertaining to watch a D with a blitz rate of 43% that is effective but coaches still need the personnel to pull it off, it's not the other way around. Can Sheppard turn into a Flores clone? It's possible, but he'd have to watch all of the Vikings games under Flores to really learn the system. I think it can be done, but it's not an easy transition because it takes the right player personnel, it's more than coaching.
We need to draft tackle and fix the interior in free agency
