1. Uhhhh… no thanks. I don't want "mighty mouse" to be my QB in 2026. It'd be a repeat of what we just went through with Fields.

2. I'd find a way to get Kyler for CHEAP. We would have to eat a lot of contract so we will never have to give up a first or second rounder. And then go in draft and get Bain, Sonny Styles, Haulcey and a WR first four picks. And get the top guys we can in FA with the money we have. We could turn it around immediately. And in 27 the colts pick will be top 3. They are a trash team with no QB. They wont win more than 4 games next year. IF Kyler isnt working perfectly we could draft a QB then.

4. thing is, timing – draft comes last, so…. I could live with Ariz QB Murray , career QB rate similar to T. Lawrence. good, not great. maybe similar to Elli who wasn't great but had a capacity to make a play. IF it's just $$$ ….. then with Jets top 4 picks this draft, 2 O' line and maybe WR thou I'd prefer a youngish FA WR who is gonna be where the QB expects. NO more geezer F. A.

11. don't forget the jets tax for declining stats under Jets leadership. It is overwhelmingly likely that this will be Kyler's worst year. It would need to be the right contract, and I'm not sure we can get him without a relatively large commitment. It would almost be better if he was on a more expiring contract with Arizona eating some of the money and a day three pick forfeited.

Kyler or Malik for two years draft a qb in second round let the man develop build the team get another wr2 in the draft probably gonna need a running back even tho I like Bralen Allen and build our defense. Let’s not do what we did with Sam draft a qb with no weapons around u build the offense let the qb sit then it’s up to Aaron glen and his staff to develop these guys

14. NO TANKING IN 2026! Someone here said tank in 2026. Absolutely not. Let it play out. Hopefully for the best. Here's why.

    The Jets will have a relatively massive amount of potentially the best, or near best, players at their positions, significantly changing the overall personal with new, hungry young men.

    You DO NOT want to state, or infer, a loser's attitude in any way(s) on Day One. That is a bad look in starting anew.

    You want to see these new players, and the carried over players, constantly thinking positive, every minute of the training camps, the preseason games, throughout the regular season. Personally, I'd be thinking positively, and hoping, for a close to .500 2026 season.

16. I would give Kyler Murray a whirl. If he's still a Top 20 QB, maybe at best he's enough to keep Garret Wilson and the other receivers happy. At worst, maybe he's enough rope to end things for AG next season. Maybe Joe Burrow will become available?

26. In my opinion the Jets don't need a QB that's going to set the world on fire. Just a guy that can be a potential mentor for 2 years while the ones they draft develop. I hate the fact that any team throws a rookie QB into the fire. First rounder or not. The big focus should be on QB coach. Never seen QB's look so lost in my life outside of the first 10 scripted plays to open there first drive of the game

29. Man…… I love this option. If the rumors are true and I'm not on social media following anything but if the rumor is true the pick you would give up isn't bad, dude u could build up Kyler for his next contract, you could draft a qb next year. I like his contract I just like this whole situation

30. This is how desperate and pathetic the Jets are. A short QB who never got used to passing + Dante Moore who has all of 15 starts in college, and has iffy sideline accuracy, are our hope for the future.

    Hoo boy, 5 total wins next year sure sounds exciting

31. No to KM. They don’t need a bridge QB to be a former starter. It didn’t work with Fields or Russell Wilson. Murray is also as passionless as Fields. You have to also ask yourself why a team with the same record as the Jets are cutting him with no replacement. Why they sat him nearly the entire season with a fake injury designation. This is Fields part ll. Malik Willis isn’t going to sign here. He’s going to put himself in a good position with a team like Pittsburgh or the Colts. They should just get a back-up like Stidham, who’s a realistic option, contract permitting. The Jets needed to tank for Mendoza and they didn’t, now they’re screwed.
