Kap should just do whatever he can to master this.
What about PMB’s spin-o-rama?? Those were the days.
Can any goalies chime in here and explain how a move like this that is by NHL standards relatively simple and can be telegraphed miles away was so unstoppable?
Literally Boldy’s goal, he just does it slower, really likes to mind fuck the goalie.
Classic. Brian Ralston’s wind up clapper is an all timer as well
Mikko was over 39% in shoot outs. Ranked 120th all time in official NHL stats with minimum 10 attempts. Weirdly, the top player on the list at 80% is the Wild’s Petteri Nummelin.
Hockey Reference has:
Mikko 30 / 87 =0.345 (never above 50% in any year)
Boldy 12/21 =0.571 (67% this year, only one year below 50%)
We are living in the Golden Age…
Used to have tickets behind the double attack goal and I probably saw half of these in person right below us. He was so good with this move.
