Those 5 are 5 core pieces to our rotation this year. This team just isn’t good. We have two rookies who, while showing a ton of promise, are just going to naturally make rookie mistakes that lose games. And we have one plus defender on the entire roster. You just can’t win games that way.
This is a flawed and not very good roster. The sooner everyone, including Dumars, accepts this the better.
Zion Poole herb missed time. Lineup makes sense
This is our second most used lineup and was by no means a Willie Green creation which I’d question everyone why you are still trying to blame Willie Green for things when this team has more than shown you it sucks without him. Bryce had barely played while Willie was still around with only some garbage time showings. He didn’t start getting real minutes until JB took over.
I also saw something wild about Bey being bottom in the league on catch and shoot 3s, which is a bummer for how awesome he has been.
He is my favorite trade chip that doesnt get rid of one of the fan faves. I am hoping some contender wants to take a shot on his production off the bench. He has been hoopin.
The top three are in a league of their own. I had high hopes for Borrego but he has proven that he isn’t a Head Coach. He just stood there watching his coaching future go down the drain and never showed a sense of urgency.
This is a Borrego lineup and was when Herb and Zion were out. This is 2 rookies 2 role players and a 2 way player and none of them are high end defensively

Now substitute Zion instead of Bey but remove the last five games where Zion has performed well and Bey has fallen off. Does it look any different at all ?
But it seems to me, that the more minutes with Queen out there the worse the team looks overall compared to smartly rotating in other bigs. There’s organizational pressure to keep putting Queen on the court in heavy minutes and we all know why.
I hope Willie is taking a long vacation in Cancun with his family after having to manage this nightmare. I now feel bad for Borrego and you can see it on his faith, *face. Each game his facial expression says “you guys tasked me with being the interim captain of the Titantic, what a prize, I’d already be angling to get on Mitch Johnson’s staff next year. It’s closer to Albuquerque and on a team set up for a great decade ahead.
